Chapter 1: A child with no family

2rd POV

There was a family that lived happily. It included a mother, a father, and a little boy. The boy's name was Akuma Nichibostu. When he was 2, his mother had given birth to a healthy girl.

She was beautiful, but her eyes tuck out. The E/C were so unique and yet scary to look at. The girl's mother always talked to the father of the family about how demonic the girl looked.

The girl's name was Y/N. her appearance always memorized others in an enchanting and yet scary way. Some people thought she was beautiful and sweet, others though she was a demon in disguise.

Y/N had h/l h/c hair, beautiful e/c eyes, amazing shinny s/t skin. Whenever people talked about she, she heard what people said about her eyes and how they looked like a dragons.

This never affected her until she was three and overheard her mom and dad talking about her.

"She's just to scary. We need to give her away," her mother said. He at her scowled at her but nodded slowly in an understanding way.

"I understand that but she's our responsibility. We can't give up on Y/N."

"Fine be like that. Either way I'm giving her to the nearest orphanage or whoever will take Y/N."

Y/N felt really sad at the topic her parents were discussing. Her brother walked in the hall and noticed Y/N as tears slipped out of her eyes. She didn't notice until Akuma pointed it out.

"You ok N/N?"

"Huh. Yeah Im fine."

"You sure?"

Y/N just nodded slowly. Then her mother walked out of the kitchen and looked down at Y/N.

"Y/N, please come with me we're going to the park."

Y/N could tell that her mother was lying, but she obeyed. She walked to the door and slipped on her shoes. Akuma then followed, as he looked at his sister, he felt an uneasy feeling settling in his stomach. But he just ignored the feeling turning to Y/N as he remembered something.

"Hey Y/N. I have something for you. I made it myself."

Y/N looked at Akuma as he had the goofiest smile on his face. She just nodded in response. Akuma pulled out something from his pocket and put it gently in Y/N's hands. It was a bracelet made out of sea shells the two found at their last trip from the beach.

"It looks pretty Akuma thank you."

Just as they finished, Y/N's mother grabbed Y/N's hand dragging her behind while the other two family members tagged along. They family stopped on the dock, seeing many people in rags boarding the boat. They looked like slaves to Y/N, and in fact they were. Y/N's mother walked up to the boss and pulled Y/N behind her.

She then threw Y/N infront of her as the boss looked up at the woman.

"I'm giving her away. Take her or leave her to rot all by herself. It's your choice."

"We'll take her. She seems valuable and healthy. We'll give you 3,000 jewl for her."

The woman behind Y/N just nodded as she took the jewl. Y/N stared in disbelief as Akuma tried to run to Y/N. Y/N struggled to hug him as two guards pulled her away. "Akuma, please help me. I don't want to go," Y/N screeched as she puked her hand out only for Akuma's finger tips to trace over hers.

Their mother look Akuma's wrist as she pulled him away to go home, but even resisted trying to get to go sister. It was too late because Y/N was forced on the boat as it sailed away. Y/N screamed for her brother to save her but it was no use, as Y/N retreated away from the edge of the boat.

Her small figure sank down the wall of the ship as she brought her little legs to her chest. Y/N cried silently as she hid her face in-between her legs. and then on she was on that ship for a week. and boy was it hell. On the 7th day she was her regular spot crying until it was interested by shouts from the crew as the ship was lit aflame.

Y/N tried to get to a boat, but they were all full. So she jumped of the side and swam a fast as she could away from the ship. She floated on your back letting the water carry her away. She stayed in the water for awhile until she washed up on to shore. Her back was on the sand as her eyes were closed.

All of a sudden a huge gust a wind blew as it knocks up dust. When the dust cleared it showed a big black and blue dragon. To the dragon's surprise the girl didn't flinch or run away. This had him intrigued.

The dragon said, "Go away before I kill you."

Y/N responded with a surprising answer, "Go ahead and kill me. It seems like the world rejects me anyway. So please just let me wrote away."

The dragon was surprised that a little girl which as her could say such a thing. "Now why would you say that."

"My family sold be to these bad people who took me away to become a slave. A-And people h-hate me b-b-because my eyes l-look s-scary!" Y/N exclaimed while choking back tears. The dragon looked down at her. He began to change into a human.

"Hey kid do you wanna stay with me for a while. I can teach you how to do magic and fight against people who try to take you."

Y/N looked up at the dragon in surprise. Why would he want me. I'm just a nuisance to everyone.

"So kid what do out say, you coming with me or are out gonna fought away on the sand."

"I'll come with you. But I need to know you're name. Mine's is Y/N. *I forgot my last name. So what's yours?"

"It's Agnologia. Now come on let's go."

And so the two left to go to Agnologia's cave. It was quite comfortable and Y/N got her own room. Agnologia provided the necessities like food and clothes. The great thing about living with Agnologia is that he got her presents ever time something important happened, like Christmas and her birthday. The outfit was a dress that was a coral color that had long sleeves. And the boots were a light orange.

Another great thing is that she could do whatever she wanted and go everywhere I the island. Y/N could go near the ocean or a top any mountain. But on her 6th birthday Y/N found an unusual looking egg.

The egg had a pastel pink base with a pastel blue flame design. She took it home and unfortunately Agnologia was out. Y/N put the egg on the table in her section of the cave. Before she did though she put a blanket around it.

When Y/N was done, she went back to her bed and read a book until she heard a voice. "Hey kiddo, happy birthday. I got you some presents."

"Thanks dad. I found this egg out in the forest."

"Hm. I haven't seen any egg that looked like this before. Anyway want to open your presents first or eat?"

"I want to open my presents. Is that ok?"

"Yeah that's fine while out do, imma cook f/f."

"Okay."

When Agnologia left to cook Y/N opened her presents. Some were really weird but Y/N remembered the magic Agnologia explained to her. It was Celestial Magic but more rare. Y/N got Celestial keys, new clothes, some flowers, a stuffed animal, and a some jewelry.

When Agnologia came back with the f/f and a cake, he saw Y/N looking at the gifts.

"You know some of those gifts are to help you with your magic."

"Really which ones? I know the keys are gonna help me summon spirits but what's with all the jewelry and clothes."

"Well first the keys don't summon regular spirits. This key summons all the zodiac spirits with out all their keys. 20 of those keys are to summon different God's and goddesses. The other 7 are demon keys that summon 7 strong demons. The necklace will help you sorry all the items you need, such as clothes, the keys, and even food. And you can hide the necklace with your requip magic. The clothes are armor that will help you avoid serious injuries."

After Agnologia explained what the uses of presents the egg started to shake. The next thing the two knew a small cat came out of the egg. The cat looked the same as the colors on the egg.

"Huh a cat came out of the egg? Well it looks cute."

"Huh? Where am I?"

The cat then grew wings and started to fly around. When she stopped she looked at Y/N expecting an answer to the question she previously asked.

"Well you're in our cave, and how you got here? Well I carried you here. Anyway do you have a name."

"No."

"Well I'll name you Cotton cause you look like cotton candy."

"Huh, well I like that."

After that, Cotton flew into Y/N's arms and hugged her. Then Y/N went to her bed and went to sleep. After that day Y/N spent all her days with Cotton, and training. She learned how to summon all the gods, goddesses, demons, and zodiac spirits.

*Time skip to when Y/N was 9 brought to you by Erza protecting Y/N from danger*

After being with Agnologia for 6 years, Y/N learned to love Agnologia as a father. But on a very rainy and stormy day, Agnologia had to talk to Y/N.

"Y/N, I need to talk to you."

"What is it dad."

"Um...Well you see I have to leave for a while. I'm not gonna see you for a long time."

"Why?"

"Because I'm not safe to be around anymore. Cotton please protect Y/N okay."

"Wait, please don't leave. Please! N-Not you too! P-Please don't g-go!"

Y/N struggled to hold back the tears that welded up in her eyes. She didn't want to be *abandoned or left behind again. But she failed as tears flowed down the girls face. Agnologia felt bad about leaving.

He hated seeing the girl he cared for so sad. Agnologia then walked up to the small girl who was hold Cotton in her hands. Agnologia then went down on his knees to be the same height as the little girl. He held out his arms and gave Y/N a huge hug.

Y/N still cried, but her face was hidden in Agnologia's shirt. Cotton began to cry too; the rain only adding to the despair. When Agnologia pulled away, he looked down at the girl as she looked down to the floor.

He then looked away full of regret. He wanted the girl to come with him, but he was not gonna risk the girls safety for his own selfish desire. Agnologia then tired into a dragon and flew away. Oh how would he regret not taking the girl with him

*So let me explain to why Y/N forgot her last name. She was half unconscious and forgot some important things such as family, her last name, and where she used to live.

*Despite forgetting her family Y/N knows the abandoned her and sold her to the people who held the slaves. Also the same people were apart of the tower of Heaven project. This will be explained in Chapter 2
