Once Elesmere's body was no longer a twitching mess of enhanced sensations due to the creation of the moon within her and our dual cultivation I helped her get used to the new energies within her and soon enough she was able to project wisps of frigid icy white air that froze one of her blankets so hard it became so brittle that when the Eldar picked it up, it fell apart into pieces.
Needless to say, she pouted seeing one of her blankets make a pile of shards of itself allover her bed.
"Your Lunar Yin Attribute Ice is already coming close to hitting the concept of true zero degrees of temperature so anything you freeze will become extremely brittle as the atoms and such will instead shatter and break apart rather than move and bend like that blanket should have." I explained to Elesmere and she nodded with a wry look.
She smiled as she sat down on her bed after she swept off the remains of her ruined blanket onto the padded floor obviously for later clean up. "I didnt need the little science lesson as such a thing is learnt before my people can even walk..." Elesmere said proudly showing off her Eldar heritage before she continued to speak. "Now I know you wouldn't have me go through so much in order for me to be able to shoot a freeze ray like your humans so vaunted flamers you like using so much in battle."
My face couldn't help but twitch at her at her condescending tone as she talked about my humanity's beloved flamer, so I swiftly rectified her thoughts. "Woman! It is called a Heavy Flamer and its the greatest source of warmth in the is galaxy... And yes, I had you learn how to be a walking refrigerator not only to cool the beers I send you to get but also that freezing energies you have can go so much farther than merely killing an innocent blanket." I said before reorganizing my mind of the cultivation knowledge I held on to what nonsense pure Yin/Ice Qi could get up too,
"Whereas my Yang Qi represents burning passion and can lead to creation your freezing Yin Qi represents the pure state of stagnation and with it you can literally freeze time itself and any other concepts around you. A mystically immune Khornate demon is charging you? Freeze the concept of mobility in your surroundings so he can't move allowing you to throw an icicle through his head." I explained to Elesmere whose face twitched at the examples I gave.
"Could this be used directly upon demons then? Like should you open a portal to the Warp and an innocent little deamonette of She Who Thirsts arrives. Could I freeze the bond the bond they have to the demon prince and break it, so I could attempt to interrogate it for a number of reasons?" She asked frowning and I nodded to her question before shaking my head at the uhm danger of her idea. At least for now it was too dangerous for us to be directly stealing demons directly from the four Warp Gods.
"Me absorbing tiny incoherent Chaos Spawn that are unattached to the four Choas Gods are very different from taking a cognizant demon directly from Slaanesh's court. Especially one that will know whatever information you desire. If anything, rather than dealing with Slaanesh wouldn't saving Isha from Nurgle be a better plan?" I said trying to dissuade her as I mentally went over the feasibility of basically tying the Eldar goddess here to the Material Universe so Nurgle and Slaanesh wouldn't be able to get hold of the Eldar goddess of fertility and a great number of other things her domains encompassed.
"Jake... Walking into Nurgle's most diseased area where he keeps her is a fool's errand. Not even the greatest Pheonix Lords and Exarch's of my people that were likewise working with the Harlequinn's and the best Drukahri could save Isha from the slathering hordes of Nurgle's diseased land." She said sadly as despite her obvious almost worship of my current abilities at this point she knew I couldn't just bend over the warp with my current abilities.
I shook my head as I patted Elesmere on her head making her scowl at the action, but her face froze as I spoke. "She is a goddess who can be in more than one place at once right? In any case with the right resources or even one of her artifacts I could make a sort of gestalt that can host her essence so she can rebuild her body in RealSpace and eventually the husk of her old body in Nurgle's domain will be lost to his diseases allowing her a clean break so long as she doesn't go into the Immaterium and neither should Slaanesh be able to find her if she doesn't throw around her Eldar divinity.
Elesmere nodded in understanding before she coughed awkwardly. "As great as your idea is. Most of Isha's iconography and relics were destroyed as her entombment in the land of Nurgle has corrupted them into carrying the same pestilence she is being forced to undertake under Nurgle's care."
I shrugged and replied in that case we merely needed to get me the resources to do so.
I couldn't help but sigh as I laid down on the bed beside Elesmere staring at the ceiling as we shared a moment of silence before I broke it. "In any case. With us having our foundations in our body refining arts I believe it's time we take to the blanket of stars above us. In order to get the resources, I need to reach a level that would rival the God Emperor of my people and the very Chaos Gods but those resources we can't get here on this Hiveworld as such resources most of time will likely come from Warp touched worlds."
"What happened to making those magical archways that could transport us to other planets? That was the reason we got this warehouse in particular anyway." Elesmere spoke before she nudged me with her elbow. "And don't even think I will step onto those death traps you humans call ships that travel through the Warp itself in order to exceed faster than light travel."
I snickered at her vehement refusal, and I honestly couldn't blame her as really. Who in their damned right mind thought traveling through literally Hell to get some milk on another planet was the right idea?
"No, I plan on making a living artifact through the biomass of the monsters of the Underhive and even the Sump if there isn't enough biomass in the Spider Domain. Then I will also need you to make a great deal of WraithBone to be used as the framework for the Artifact I will create." Before she could bemoan the work, I was pushing on her to make the Wraithbone I reminded her. "Speaking of which all your prior Warp based abilities will be much easier on you with your much strengthened body and soul allowing you to channel more Warp energies."
Finally, after a bit more coaxing, I got my elf to agree to slave away making a bunch of Wraithbone and what do you know, those huge caverns the Genestealers had that will be soon abandoned by the Inquisition and the Guard will be perfect to create a space traveling artifact.
"What kind of artifact will you be making? I love these Kasaya Beads, but I don't see them pulling us through space?" She asked with her semi sentient Kasaya Beads in question flexing in response to her mentioning them from her tied up hair as she used them as hair braids when she wasn't fighting with them. As she saw my almost childish grin she muttered. "If your plan is to make something akin to the Tyranids in a living ship I strongly suggest making it discreet as many forces of the galaxy has set aside their differences briefly to deal with the possibly galactic threat that is the Tyranids." She warned with real concern in her eyes.
I nodded in understanding as despite the awesome possibly of traveling through space in what amounted to be a continent length Eastern Dragon winding through space with a pocket dimension within its frame to house a whole planet for us to live upon I was more mentally locked onto something similar to the Halo Rings from the after-mentioned Halo games without its galactic life wiping abilities and the after mentioned Biomass ship, I was originally planning on.
"I will be using a great deal of Biomass from the Spider Domain which isn't really all the monitored due to the inherent dangers even approaching the area and I will be assembling a ship that looks quite similar to human style vessels but with some minor differences."
I had the design of a ship that was all but perfect for Warhammer 40k. Basically it was quite similar in appearance to Space Pirate Captains Harlocks Ship, and it had something similar to the Necrons Inertia-less drive that could travel faster than the speed of light simply via glyphs and most importantly the ship would also be alive and more sentient than our Kasaya Beads so I could further enhance it with Artifact refining cultivation techniques.
"Well, it's been a month since you helped deal with those loathsome Genestealers its likely those Inquisition members if they even bothered to look for you have given up. They certainly have better things to do then fruitlessly search for a ghost." She shrugged as she finally rolled over into me and tucked her head into my shoulder. "Now let me sleep in your warmth Jake. I can already feel the headache from creating all the wraith bone that's in my future."
I gently patted Elesmere's head and ran my fingers though her hair as I muttered softly into her sharp elven ears. "Then sleep and dream safely knowing none within the Warp can touch upon your wandering soul."
