A life with the Author

{Hey, you better get up and do some introduction to the readers who want to try the story.} the author said. I woke up groggily and looked at the time, "Dude, it's four in the morning." I said and went back to sleep. {I don't care. I need a sypnosis now.} the author demanded. "Bro, please, five more hours." I said {Wake up right now or else.} 'Or else what?' I challenged. {If you don't wake up I will reincarnate you in Boku no Pico, I swear.} Oh please, like that's a bad world to reincarnate to. I will just leave Japan and everything would be fine. {Then how about Attack on Titan?} That's great!! It means I would be able to change the story and prevent the sad ending. I could make Mikasa fall for me and maybe even invent some stuff with my future knowledge. It would be amazing. {This is final. I will reincarnate you in Kuroinu...} Oh!! The hentai where men can use any female for sexual pleasure? Reincarnate me there right now!! It is a little fucked up but I certainly wouldn't mind- {...as the elf queen Celestine.} .. .. .. .. .. .. .. Touring Korea

[Yuito's POV]

"Well, this certainly is different from home." I said to myself as I walked through the streets of Gangnam, Korea.

The buildings, the designs, the climate, and even the roads were awfully similar to Japan but one could feel the difference immediately, like hot and cold water, they were both water and extremely similar but at the same time they were vastly different.

The signs on buildings and shops were written in a language I barely understood and the chatter of the people around me also felt unnatural. It would take me a lot of time to understand the murmurs around me.

I was extremely proficient in English and Japan, the former was due to my past life. But I was also not totally clueless about other languages.

Especially Korean, I immediately watched videos and read some books to learn the language when I first knew that I was going into the country.

Not only that, Japanese and Korean language share strong similarities in their language structure. There are even words with the same pronunciation and meaning like 'shoes' and 'furniture'.

So it did not take much effort for me to be at a level where I could comprehend Korean.

**

[Korean : Novice]

**

The system did help too and I was optimistic about leveling up soon, when I was constantly surrounded by the people who spoke the language, leveling up was inevitable.

Another thing to note on the difference between Japan and Korea was the people. The vibe they give off is so different that they might as well be opposites.

Like introverts and extroverts.

The people who walked the street were holding their nose a little bit too high compared to the Japanese people who were more reserved.

And while the Japanese would walk quietly except for friend groups and schoolers, the Koreans were absolutely noisy.

There was no moment of silence with them.

Groups of friends laughed and had fun as if they were in their house and those who walked alone either hummed to a song or were on a phone call.

it was more noisy and busy here and personally, I enjoyed it more. Maybe it's because of the different experiences, I didn't know.

The way they dressed and their fashion was also different. Japanese would always wear pants and thick clothes no matter how hot the weather is to look fashionable. You would be the odd one out if you wore, for example, a short and a tee shirt outside.

And in Korea? You guessed it, it's the complete opposite.

Shorts and Tee shirt were common among the youth. They also have waist pack instead of bags and all their clothes have a proud designer brand. And of course, there are people who wear oversized shirts as well.

The girls here are also comparatively more attractive than Japanese girls. Mostly due to their makeup and dress. Fashion and beauty for girls seem higher here in Korea.

Every girl had their hair styled and their makeups done. Their outfit was also more skimpy and revealing as they highlighted whatever curves they were proud of.

It was fun to observe the difference in culture. And of course, the Korean people seemed to agree with that statement considering how many eyes were on me.

Japanese and Korean share similar appearance but differences could be noted. Like Japanese are healthy white while Koreans are rather pale. Japanese have bigger eyes and longer nose while Koreans have Oval shapeed face and more pouty lips, etc.

And I, as a person with peak Japanese male beauty was sure to gather attention. I attract the eyes of boys and girls alike but the eyes of the girls would linger longer.

I was the topic of every conversation around me, the people couldn't help but comment.

"Hey hey, is he an Idol or something? He doesn't look to be from around here."

"Look at his jawline bro, dudes got swords there."

"A foreigner? Tch why are there so many these days? It's all because of those idol groups."

"Do you think he knows Korean?"

I could make out those comments if I paid close attention. But there were also many that I could not understand, they were probably slang or some inappropriate words.

I hope the skill level up soon so I could understand everything.

"The guy looks feminine as hell, bet he couldn't even hold up his hands."

Okay, who said that!! I will beat their ass a hundred times before the day is over. Koreans are not fit to comment on my feminine appearance!!!

And it's just the Asian genetics! I would sure love to look like a Viking if I could.

"It's kind of annoying, being at the center of attention." I said to myself as I dragged my luggage behind me. I also had a bag on my back.

I was looking for a hotel and instead of hiring a taxi, I wanted to check out the city and have a personal tour by searching for a hotel by myself.

I went into a sho, bought a face mask and wore the hoodie I brought and after that, the stares lessened a bit.

But now I have to deal with a different kind of staring, people were looking at me weirdly because I wore a hoodie in broad daylight where it was hot rather than cold.

In the end, I took everything off and settled for a hat and a mask. I looked at my reflection in one of the buildings and cursed my fate.

Why was I so handsome?

{There he goes again.} The author commented and I just laughed it off and continued my journey.

The cars were a bit more plentiful than where I am from and you could also see luxury cars more.

After I had worn my hat and mask, the stares from people lessed as they went about their days.

As a curious tourist that I was, I continued checking out everying. From how they run the shops and how the people behave.

They were way more casual about everything then back at home. It was a nice and different feeling that I quite enjoyed.

The girls were also something I checked out, but who could blame me? It is a must for a man to check out the girls of a city to judge whether it was a good city or a bad one.

The girls, as I said, were on average more attractive but none could come close to my girls. Their beauty being world shattering was true.

As I walked through the side of the road, taking in the similar yet different sights of Korea, I couldn't help but let my mind wander on about a certain Manhwa whose character I had met before.

Yeonwoo Ji. He was the one I fought in the finals when I participated in the Karate tournament, and if he is in this world, I should assume that other characters from the same series should exist as well.

The series being, Viral Hit.

And if I am not mistaken, the main character and the plot happened in gangnam.

{That is correct. Viral hit takes place in Gangnam and Lookism in Seoul.}

Hmm. Should I search for the characters? it should prove to be fun and fruitful. I still had to wait for like four days until the tournament start.

I went to Korea earlier to get used to the climate and the environment. It would be good if I tried to find them while I wait.

If memory serves me right, the main character, Hobin works at fast food shop.

"But which one is the question." I said to myself as I immediately spotted one fast food shot in the distance.

"Welp, wouldn't hurt to look around I guess."

Dragging my luggage behind me and with my bag fastend on my back, I went to the store.
