CHAPTER II

I'm entering the school gate when accidentally I bumped into someone.

"Sorry, I didn't saw you." I apologetically say.

"Next time watch where you're going." he rolled his eyes and leave without helping me pick up my things.

"Psh! arrogant" I whispered

This University is expensive, some students here are, son of politicians, actors, businessman. 80% of students here are arrogant, brats, gangsters, and bullies. One of them is my 3 stepsisters. And speaking of the witches, here they come.

I'm about to turn my back when suddenly they called me.

"hay" I took a deep breath and put a smile on my face. "oh hi, what can I do for you ladies."

"puts my things in our room and buy me a coffee, "Gretta said

"here's my thing, hot chocolate for me" Gail added

"just buy me a soda and cake, ill wait in my classroom," Gabby said.

"is that all?" I ask

"yeah," they said and walk back to where they're going.

" WHAT THE HELL? ARE YOU BROKE OR SOMETHING. DO YOU NEED MONEY? You can ask me you know that. Is this your new job? "

"HONEY! When did you come back?" she's Honey my best friend since birth. Yeah since birth she's older than me for 3 months but I'm more mature.

" Answer my questions young lady" with her arms on her chest while stamping her one foot.

"well you know my stepsisters, they get what they want, "I said. we're heading to the coffee shop for their coffees.

"yeah right what's knew." before I forget to look what I have here" she get something inside her bag and show it to me." the hunk will be performing at the hall today and I got VIP tickets for two," she said excitedly.

"what so? you will come with me whether you like it or not".

"what took you so long?" Gretta said.

I didn't answer her I just gave her the coffee and I'm about to leave when she talks.

"We have an assignment for tomorrow, here do this."

"ok"

"let's go!" I said to Honey

"what's that?"

"Ahm nothing" I reply. we went to the hall for the so-called performance of the hunk. tsk, I'm not a fan of that band, I don't even know them.

we've been waiting for half an hour. I'm so bored I can't take it anymore, I took my phone in my bag and start my games. as the game loading, I glance at the stage.

"the arrogant guy, hmm in fairness his voice is nice".

I look back at my phone and start playing.

"No buts young man! You will date Mr. Lims daughter or you stop singing!?"

"Your impossible" I walk away and head to school

As I am walking in the hallway I suddenly bumped into someone

"I'm sorry I didn't see you," she said

"Next time watch where you're going," I said and walk away.

BACKSTAGE

"What's with that face Mr.," said Louise the drummer

" oh let me guess, it's your grandpa right?" Mauro the base guitarist he added

"Yeah, what's new?" I reply

"Oh Zenrry, it's a miracle your early." Said Mitch our band manager. "Here's the list of songs that you're going to play."

"Thanks, Mitch, "I said." Let's prepare for our rehearsal guys, we'll only have 5 songs to play."

And we get ready for rehearsal. we only have 2 hours of rehearsal but we only took 1hour. 2hours is too much for us to practice. After rehearsal, we stay in our dressing room.

"Did you find her?" I ask Anthony our band leader and guitarist.

"Not yet " he sighs. How can I find her that fast with this kind of school it's so wide and so many students."

"Did you try asking at the registrar?"

"Yes, they told me that all information of the students is confidential."

"That's bad. But Don't worry bro we'll help you." Mauro

Suddenly Mitch enters the room. "Guys we'll start at 15 seconds be ready."

"We can do it guys, let's go."

We go to our designated spot. As the curtain opens we were amazed. It's like we were at the big concert, there's a lot of audiences, is this concert or what? I ask myself.

"GOOD AFTERNOON LADIES AND GENTLEMEN thank you for the warm welcome for us, hope you'll enjoy the show"

As we started playing there is this girl that looks like she's not enjoying the show. She glanced at me the clumsy girl. I wink at her.

She looks at me and rolled her eyes "CUTE"

I start singing and the girls went crazy.

"Zenrry please marry me"

"Mauro be mine"

"The Hunk you're so awesome"

Girls are always girls. I focus on singing but I can't help but look at her, I don't want to admit but she is beautiful.

I'm singing the last part of the 4th song, an idea pop up in my mind. I smiled at my plan. I can't wait for it to happen.

when they play the intro of our last song, I start walking down the stage going in her direction. She doesn't have any idea what's going to happen. she's still playing on her phone.

as I start singing I grab her hand gently. she's in shock, her eyes widen, and don't know what to do.

I smiled. I'm still holding her hand but she's pulling it back, I'm stronger than her she can't' pull it.

I pull here closer till our eyes meet. I smiled at her but she gave me a warning look "let go of me or else"

I want to annoy her, I wink at her. then slowly I let go of here.

She slowly walks to the stairs but I grab her again, she sighs.

She gave me a sweet smile, suddenly I froze. What a sweet smile. She took the microphone and she starts singing.

Collins POV

"Now you are surprised by that?" I whispered to myself. "Arrogant" I sat down next to Honey. I don't have any interest in watching concerts. I took my phone out of my bag and put my headset on and start playing the game. Even if I want to leave I can't Honey won't let me. I just focused on playing.

A few minutes later, Honey remove my headset and whispered. "Let's go." And she drags me out of the stadium.

"you slay there Leen, I am your number one fan." She said while giggling, "you're really good, even Zenrry was dumbfounded by your good singing."

"He is so arrogant, He won't stop pulling me. I just sang to make him stop, He thought I can't sing."

"He's so dumbfounded."

"LEEN!!" We heard Jessica shouted

"Jessica!!"

"Did you see that, she's really good, "

"yes, she's really good, I just hope he accepts the lead role"

"I can't and I can't handle my schedule and a lot of other work"

Gossip around the hallway about me, but I don't care, they can say whatever they want, that their opinion though.

"Hey! You left so early, we have a lot of work backstage."

"Oh I'm proud of you girl, you've finished it all," Jessica said smiling and she put her arms on her shoulder.

"Yes but it's a disaster."

"They are so annoying and very demanding."

"No wonder you got a VIP ticket."

Kimmy approaches them. "Hey, girl!!"

"Just ignore them." I tried to stop her

"GO girl.'' And they push her

"Have you ever try to look at yourself in the mirror. Oh, wait don't try it, you will regret looking at your ugly face," she said. "And you have the nerve to talk like that to my friend here. As I can see you're an old maid compare to her." And turned her back on them. This is my sassy friend.

She holds my hand and grabs me. "Let's go girls."

"You don't have to do that Kimmy."

"They can't talk like that against you."

"No, buts dear, as long as we are here no one will ever look down on you."

"She's right." Honey and Jessica said in chorus.
