Dracula blinked his eyelashes as he gazed at Lilith. He felt a sting in his chest, the impact of Lilith's words hurting him for an unknown reason.
"I have tried staying for more than four days without eating," Lilith whispered, sounding as if she was boasting about herself. "It's like I was proving to myself and the world that I didn't need food, that I could survive without it."
The statement hung in the air between them.
Dracula shook his head sideways. "You shouldn't be doing that to yourself." He muttered.
Lilith nodded as she continued eating her noodles. "Being hard on myself isn't that bad." She whispered.
Following her statement, she stood up from where she was seated and grabbed her plate of noodles, heading straight to the dishwasher.
Lilith set her plate inside the dishwasher as she turned to stare at Dracula. "How can I operate this?" She innocently questioned him.
