"You can't." The doctor spat coldly.
Her once warm and friendly voice has now changed into a voice that holds no warmth. "I can tell you aren't human, so I'll treat you as my equal." She spat.
Lilith's lips gasp opened for some seconds as she tried to think within herself.
Lilith was confused by the doctor's sudden change in demeanor. "What's gotten into you?" she asked, her voice laced with concern. "Are you harboring a grudge against me?"
Lilith's questions were met with silence. The doctor scoffed as she sarcastically rolled her eyes. "What if I do have a grudge on you?"
Lilith frowns as she intensely glares at the doctor, trying to read her expression. "This is strange," Lilith mumbled, forcing her saliva down her throat. "So what is your grudge about?" Lilith probed.
The doctor grabbed a bottle of water from the bedside table and she handed it over to Lilith. "Drink this. We will talk later."
