Pain and heartbreak

Lucifer and detective James.  Pulled over at the crime scene where the corpse that was killed lay openly but was surrounded by Tiffany and the other members of the forensic unit. As they battled with the autopsy and other tests needed to crack the case. "There's no need to draw conclusions yet, the Forensic unit are not done with the test yet, why don't we wait till they are done before we conclude if Sia's dad is a suspect or not."  Lucifer pointed out.

James sighed briefly. "there's actually no need for the forensic test, we are just doing it for the benefit of doubts."

"What do you mean?" Lucifer asked confused. James shook his head, "come with me." He said as he held Lucifer's hand and lead him to where Sia's father was with some other guards. The moment Sia's father saw them the started shouting. "I did it, I Did it guys you have to arrest me, arrest me right now ..  you are the cops right? You need to take me in now." 

"Don't worry old guy, that's exactly what we are here to do."  James told him as he walked towards him, but Lucifer held his hand and dragged him to a corner. "Wait we need to talk about this."

"What is there to talk about? You heard the man clean and clear, he has already confessed to the crime. So what else do you want to say?". Detective James asked.

Lucifer sighed, he felt that there was something more behind the case that it was not ordinary, but he could not really figure out what it was."he might be saying this in order to cover up for someone else. Who knows."

"What ever he might be doing, he still has to be arrested because even confessing to a crime one did not commit also has some jail terms you know?. So I say we take him to the station, and we are taking him now". James said with a tone of finality, Lucifer paused briefly pondering on what else to do, he did not know if he should just hit James down and make everything dissapear or something, he sighed because he knew that he did not have that much power, the only person that could do that and do it perfectly well without drawing any attention was his father. But if he tried to do something like that by himself the earth might no longer remain the same again. And that was going to attract his father's wrath...

Wait, why was he now scared of attracting his father's wrath?, Wasn't that the main reason that he had come to earth for.. now he did not want to attract God's wrath anymore. Probably because he had fallen in love with a human. And he does not know what will happen to her if his father gets pissed and decides to do something harsh ... He had always known that humans where weak, but he never would have thought that humans could ever be his weakness...

Felix stood at the fixed point where he had been, holding the wedding invitation card that Luciana had given to him. He did not know what to think. He had always thought that when Celestials fall in love with each other, they fall whole heartedly and the love was forever. Now things with Luciana seemed a little bit different. Very different and he no longer knew what to think.  He had had the opportunity to be with Tracy but all he could think of was Luciana. Now here she was handing over a Wedding invite to him. Her wedding invitation.

He could not help but wonder if this whole forever love thing really affected the whole Celestials or was it just vampires. Or was he even the only one that it affected. He felt like crying and screaming at the same time, he felt like renting his clothes apart and jumping into a flaming furnace to get burnt, but he was actually the boss and he needed to stay strong or rather appear strong to the people that where following him and most especially for his two siblings that now walked towards where he stood.

"It's okay bro. We now believe that she had no hand in it." Sam said. "We heard your conversation with her from the other side of the road with our vampire hearing. She's totally ignorant of what happened here ."

Felix tightened his eyes as he fought back the powerful tears that was about to rush down his eye lids. Then he swallowed hard. "Let's go back to Rome."

Victoria could hear the pain and agony in his voice but she could not figure out the cause. "Are you okay bro?".

"I said let's go!!!!" He thundered as they silently followed him back to Rome. Running through the woods. They had thought that they heard him earlier mention that they needed the money in the safe because they might not have the strength to run back to Rome But here he was running effortlessly  through the woods back to Rome and they dared not question him.

Lucifer was tempted to force  Sia's father to deny all the claims he had made about killing the victim  in the car as they drove back to the police department but he knew it was a crime to talk to a suspect outside the interrogation room without any crucial reason. he winced painfully as the driver got to the police department and pulled over at the parking lot. "Alright here we go.", detective James said as he helped him come down from the car. And took him into the police department .

As they got inside detective James stopped and turned to look at Lucifer with shock written all over his face.  "What?" Lucifer asked wondering why he had such look on his face. He decided to check it out for himself, so he moved detective James aside and went in to see for himself and he himself  was also shocked to the brim at what or rather whom he saw. He saw Sia sitting on his desk looking at them confusedly .
