Investigate

"I was walking through the street very early this morning, on my way back from a vigil when some guys came to me asking for money, when I told them I did not have any, they did not believe me, they came to take my purse I prayed to the Lord and He Sent an angel that Literally came to pick me up."  Detective James sighed as he paused the tape of the woman's Statement which he had played over and over again trying to make sense of what he was hearing.

He turned to Lucifer who sat on the other side of the table. "I know you are good at using metaphors to explain real life situations, Like when you tell everyone that you are Lucifer and you came from hell,  you use that to describe your real situation so tell me what you think this woman meant by all these." 

Lucifer sighed for a moment. "What is wrong with this human." He whispered to himself. Then he stood up and spoke to James. "I need to check out this woman's story, give me the location and details of everything she said."

"Wait don't tell me that you actually believe everything she said? " Detective James asked with a smug look on his face.  "Just do what I said." Lucifer replied as he walked out of the office.

Divina's sighed as she turned around and saw one angry looking human vampire standing behind her. "I am going to tell you this calmly for one Last time."  The vampire said as he walked closer to Divina. "We are closed, and you are going to have to leave now."

"Okay fine, I'm going to leave but first of all I'm going to have to ask you a few questions." Divina Saïd as she walked to the bar section and poured her self a glass of champagne. "It's rude not to offer  a drink to your visitors, didn't they teach you that in high school?."

Her Calmness and peaceful disposition  pissed him off as much as it made him scared . He had to attack her so that she would see how serious he was, so he tried to run towards her, but he could not. He saw her eyes turn green and back to normal in a flash and his temperature started to increase, as hot sweat started to come out from the pores on his body .

"You feel that thick hotness coming from within you right?."  Divina asked as she took another sip from the glass of liquor she was holding. "It's your blood, starting to boil. Now you are going to tell me everything I need to know otherwise I won't make it stop. Do I make my self clear?."

The vampire grunted as he struggled in vain to break himself loose from her spell, and when he saw that he could no longer endure the boiling blood, she spurted out. "Okay fine I would tell you all that you want to know. Ahhh!!."

Divina smiled. "That's good, now tell me. Where are the other vampires and what are your plans.."

Lucifer walked out of the Police department with Detective James following closely behind him. "Listen detective I told you that I can handle this on my own, I do not need your help." 

"You re my partner and I can't let you investigate a case alone, no matter how crazy the case might be."  James said as he walked up to one of the official cars "I'll drive."

Lucifer sighed as he entered into the passenger's  side of the car. "I really need to get my own car, this is becoming  embarrassing." James started the engine and drove towards the  place where the woman had said the interrupted robbery took place . "But you know to get a good car ain't as easy as you think, you'd have to save up a few month's salary to be able to afford one."

"Ha, we'd see about that." Lucifer replied as James pulled over at the location of the interrupted robbery. "What are we investigating here?, The woman said she did not loose anything " detective james stated.

Lucifer sighed. "I'm here to find my brother, and I told you that you shouldn't have come with me, because it's a little bit personal."

Detective James looked at Lucifer a little bit confused. "Sorry for not following up to this point of your explanation. I mean what does your brother have to do with all of this? Is he one of the Robbers?.

Lucifer stopped and turned around. "My brother Michael was the one who saved her. I want to know what he is still doing here on earth and also ask him to be careful in other not to review Divinity to you unbelieving humans" .

"Oh the Arch Angel Michael you told me about?" James asked mockingly. "Now you are as delusional as the woman in the interrogation room". He could not control his laughter after saying that .

"You know what I don't need your help anymore you can go back to the department." Lucifer said, pissed.  James didn't care, he thought he had other important things to do than to waste his time playing children fantasy with Lucifer. He walked up to his car and drove away.

Divina smiled. "That's good, now tell me. Where are the other vampires and what are your plans?."

The guard vampire didn't want to tell her anything but he felt like he was going to die from the pain of boiling blood. "Those guys are crazy, I don't know where they went but they where planing a war against Lucifer. They said they wanted to get a blade or something. But they did not tell me anything else because they wanted me to stay behind" .

Divina's eyes widened."I knew these evil vampires  had something against Lucifer. I need to tell him"
