Chapter 103

Michiko's POV

"Why is HE here?!" Thea glares the moment we step out the house, she insisted she wait outside while I grabbed the present, something out needing to let the cold seep in 

I glance over at Mahito who was busy struggling to put on the face mask and glasses he insisted I let him carry before we left the house "Rina said to take him or else she'd eat him"

"She didn't say that!!.." Mahito exclaimed nearly dropping his glasses, he looked confused as to whether or not he remembered the interaction correctly "... she wouldn't eat me, right?..." he asked sounding a little less sure than he'd want us to believe ".. right?!" He repeated but I chose to let him stew in it so he'd keep a fair distance from Rina, for his own good 

"Let's go!!" I walk ahead looping my arm round Thea's as we walk back down the road 

"Right?!" He jogs to our side, still looking very distressed over a little joke
