"D-Damn it!! You bastard!! Let me go or else-"

"Or else what?" I glare at Kanzaki.

"Y-You... You care for En, don't you? If you let me go, I might reconsider exposing her. Just so you know, You are only strong in the game but what if in real life? I will ask my brother to find you and kill you before moving on to doing whatever I like with the girls." Says Kanzaki.

"Wait! Karma... Don't! let him go!!" Pleaded En.

"Hmm? Why?"

"I-I... He is part of the dragon Yakuza... Or to be precise, he is the son of the boss of the underworld."

"Hahaha!!! Now you know what my status is!!! Let me go! You trash!!" Says Kanzaki.

I smirk and pierces a knife into his hand.

"Arghh!! You bastard!! I will fucking kill you!! I will fucking-"

I kick his stomach and he flew towards the wall, crashing through.

"Ack!"

He starts coughing out blood as he collapses on the floor.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Are you not scared-"

I grab Kanzaki's head and slam it to the floor.

"Now then, since you like talking so much, let's start with your mouth."

I close the door and take out a knife before proceeding to cut out his entire jaw.

Pssh*

The blood splattered everywhere as Kanzaki struggles in pain. It's futile.

"And now next, since you love lust so much, I will send your little brother down there personally to hell."

Kanzaki starts to struggle even more. He looks like he wanted to say something but he can't. His eyes were very red as if he has an eye infection and I can see slight tears.

I take out the bloody knife once again and proceed to torture him more

En interrupts me and prevents me from going any further. She is pointing at Kanzaki.

He died.

I was constantly healing him and he still passed out and died.

Fuck, whatever.

"Karma... Are you always this fearless? Or do you not know who the dragon Yakuza are?" Asks En.

I look at what En is holding, a knife. She hid a knife with her huh...that's why she was able to untie herself when I didn't.

"Of course, I do know who the dragon Yakuza are."

"Then why did you still-"

I place my finger out to silence her.

"Calm down. Think about it, there's still a possibility that your friend betrayed you and set up this moment just for Kanzaki right? Tell me, how long have you been friends with that girl, is she greedy for money and does she know Kanzaki personally? And where did she tell you this secret of her being a prostitute?" I ask.

"Uh... I met her two weeks ago when she saved me from Kanzaki's bullying, we started becoming friends afterwards. Umm... I don't think she's greedy for money but I don't know about that. I once accidentally saw her talking to Kanzaki casually, I think she was even smiling but I paid not much attention to that. She told me her secret in her room at her home." Replies En.

"Then that settles it, she betrayed you."

I smirk at En's naivety.

"Use logic to think, I don't need to explain such obvious signs to you... Though I'm not one to talk since I was tricked in such a stupid way too."

En lowers her head and sighs.

She then stood up and says "Karma... Are you not afraid of the Dragon Yakuza? They are the master of the underworld you know? Your sister might be endangered too-"

"I know I know... That's why I laid a trap for Kanzaki. Kanzaki is someone with a huge ego, I don't think he will ask his father or anyone from the dragon Yakuza. I feel like he will come straight to your house first." I say.

"T-Then..."

En starts to shiver.

"Pfft... Did you not listen to my first line? I laid a trap for him. There's a reason why I agreed to go to your house in the first place to play BOG. If not, I would have just stayed at my home." I say.

En widens her eyes and smiles. "Okay then, I will trust you." She says and proceeds to hug me.

"Thank you." She simply says before falling asleep.

En was this worried about Kanzaki that she was so mentally exhausted?

I sigh and carry En up on my back.

She's quite light.

A few hours passed...

It's now nighttime.

I look at the sleeping En beside me and take another bite off the apple pie.

Since this is a mall, I can find all sorts of things here, even a sleeping bag. Of course, I can also find food here but it is all rotten and decomposed food which smells like shit so I avoided the supermarket.

Someone is approaching the mall.

I sneak and peek over the railings, I'm currently on the third floor.

It's a man with a hunting cap and vest.

He looks around to see the patches of blood splattered.

"It's quite fresh...probably about 2 hours ago." He says which echoed throughout the mall.

Should I engage? Nah... It's only one guy, not worth it. Besides, this guy might be a scout of a bigger group. I don't think I should engage in a fight when I have En beside me. I can't protect her and fight at the same time.

And the round ends in an hour so... Let's be rational and safe first.

That man stares in my direction suddenly and I felt deep killing intent.

I stop moving immediately to pretend to be an object.

"Hmm... Come out! I know you are there!" The man shouts.

I continue to freeze.

"Hmm guess that did not work huh. Or is there no one here?" The man mumbles.

The echoes enhanced with my hearing allows me to hear even slight sounds made by him.

"Haha, just joking. Karma, that's you, right? On the third floor pretending to be an object."

I met the person I didn't want to meet.

"Ah, crap busted. How did you know?" I ask out of curiosity?

Igor points to the patches of blood.

"The way these blood are splattered indicates that it was done by a swift slash by a blade. Not to mention the height at which it was splattered indicates that it was decapitation and I know you love rolling heads."

That's a gaming prodigy... Right in front of me. His level of analysis is on a whole new level and the speed of processing too.

I sigh and jump down from the third floor.

Landing with a crash, I say "look I don't want to fight."

"Me too," says Igor. "But I'm curious... So how about we spar a bit. I want to know your capability."

Although not much is known about Igor's fighting style for normal gamers. I know everything about it because I've seen him fight before.

"Why should I waste time and energy to bother sparring, I'm not a fighting maniac," I say.

"Hmmm... Alright then, I will transfer 50000 points to you and I will even give you information... Not that's not good enough, I will give you 100000 points and I will do one thing you tell me to do as long as it's reasonable." Says Igor.

He is desperate, isn't he...

"Yep, I am desperate." Says Igor as if I said that out loud. "It's rare to find people who can match up with me you see and I'm getting bored. I want to fight properly for once."

I sigh at Igor. "Fine but no killing and I have the rights to surrender."

"Fine by me but for you, just go all out alright?"

The way Igor is staring at me... This pressure is indescribable.

I am not a gaming prodigy, I am just a lucky bastard that's all. Can I face against a real gaming prodigy in a 1 on 1?

"What's wrong?" Says Igor.

"No... Nothing." I say, drawing my Katana out.

It was pure silence afterwards. He stood that and said nothing nor move.

And...

Something suddenly appears behind me when I purposely lose my focus.

I was already preparing to swirl my body and Igor only recently discover that from my footing position.

I slash the shadow behind me as fast as I could and Igor barely manages to dodge.

"You...Predicted my attack?... Interesting." Says Igor as he wiped the slight blood off a very minor cut on his face.

Afterwards, I launch an attack and thrust the blade towards Igor. As expected, I only thrust through an afterimage of Igor and I draw my second katana to place it to the side to block Igor's dagger.

"Oh?"

I deflect his dagger away as Igor slides back further and he takes another dagger out of his coat before charging towards me again. I blocked his attack this time and he smirks.

I hear the platform above me cracks and it soon collapses.

I wanted to jump back and dodge but sees a thin lining of piano wire.

Shit! I ended up slashing the platform in half and surviving.

"Oh! Nice! As expected, such puny tricks won't work on you. Let's step things up a bit." Says Igor.

He takes out a Katana as well and clashed with me mid-air.

I kick Igor away but to no avail as he leaps back up in the air.

What the hell?!? H-He jumped in the air?!?

I use the first sword art form and slashes the air, creating a shock wave that forces Igor to block and land back onto the floor.

"Hmm?" Igor looks around slightly before realising it.

*BOOOOM!!!*

I land on the second floor as the explosion goes off.

I've set traps beforehand in the mall just in case of intruders, didn't think that it will be useful like this.

"Hehe... Looks you are stepping up your game too. Nice." Says Igor, appearing behind me. "But is this all you got?"

I can feel the tip of a pistol behind my head.

I smirk and plunges my Katana through me from the front.

The Katana slightly pierced through Igor as a result of him standing behind me and he barely stepped back to avoid that.

"Y-You committed suicide?!" Exclaims Igor.

Igor felt something behind me at that time and dodge to the side but I predicted that and positioned my katana slightly to the right and it grazed Igor's neck.

"Of course not, why would I do something as stupid as that?" I reply.

"What??! But aren't you just over there a second ago?!" Igor exclaims as he points at where my clone was originally at.

"Ah... I see. Nice job. That was a clone." Says Igor after two seconds. "I didn't know that skill existed so thanks for informing me."

"But now that I am aware of that, that trick won't work on me anymore."

I know.

Igor smiles as he sees my stance.

He takes out a dagger and launches himself towards me.

I block his attack but the impact was too large and my whole body flinched. Igor takes advantage of that and takes out a pistol he hid and shoot.

I predicted that and deflect the bullet away with my second Katana.

That's when I realise Igor started running away.

"That bastard! Oi! Where are you running to?!" I shout.

Igor ran out of the mall and I followed him.

Odd... I feel like he is luring me somewhere.

...

Igor arrives in a narrow alley and stands at the end.

I see...

He is changing the environment. This area is narrow so I won't be able to swing my Katana and he has a gun... Shit.

I slightly peek out but the sound of gunfire made me retract my head.

Although it's a slight glimpse, I can see Igor having two pistols in both his hand pointing at both directions of this narrow alley. This guy...

Should I try to attack from the top instead?

I look at the parallel buildings that created this narrow alley to find both buildings insanely tall and the walls and windows are reinforced with metal bars... This guy... He chose an alley carefully huh.

... But...

Igor's eyes are closed... He is depending on his ears.

True, when one's eyesight disappears,  that person's hearing will improve as a substitute. Therefore, a person with closed eyes and harder to sneak up to.

But...

...

I grab Igor's arms and pin him on the ground.

"H-How?!" Exclaims Igor. "I didn't even hear anything, not even the blood flow and fluids moving in your body!"

"Oh? So you can hear things up to that extent huh. No wonder you were able to detect me back at the mall. So as a precaution I temporary immobilised everything in my body..." I say, coughing out blood. "It... Did... Take a toll on my body a bit though..."

Igor widens his eyes and started laughing.

"Shit. I already lost when I haven't even gone all out." Says Igor.

"You think I'm that stupid to let you? You were at fault for underestimating me too." I say.

"I know. I wanted to let you experience the feeling of losing to fuel your motivation to become stronger. But it is hardly needed."

I release Igor and he did as promised.

I receive the rewards and Igor send me a friend request.

"Don't worry, I won't send your information to anyone." Says Igor.

...

"Nah. Let's just contact each other through the regular message system. No need to add as friend." I reply.

Igor sighs. "Alright, the round is ending soon, ten more minutes left. I will see you around. I expect lots of interesting battles from you soon." And Igor disappears out of sight.

I should get back to En.
