chapter 6 : training

"w-what," say stella who realy suprise, at first she was really nervous cause she though that the duke has a high standar since he's a high rank aristocratic.

"b-but why, i just lost from my fight, i don't think i'm strong enough to protect your daughter if i can't even protect myself," say stella who try to reasoning with the duke who show a smile of approval.

'instead of answer my question, she try to reasoning my own decision, normal kids when they saw a chance, the would gladly take in, but she different,' though the duke who start to like the kid, this kid is really is diiferent.

"nope, you are more than enough, other kid would likely agree with the decision that would benefit them especially when they had no choice, but you're on the other hand are different, not only did you try to reasoning with me about my decision but you also show your own flaw to strenght your own opinion," say the duke.

"that more than enough reason for me to take you as my daughter bodyguard, so what your choice, ?" ask the duke.

"what kind of duty will i do if i accept, ?" ask stella.

"guarding sophia all the time when she come out from the this mansion and do some mission sith other knight, in the meantime you will learn a few lesson that i will arrenge for you, as well as pysichal education that the head knight made," say the duke who stella reply with a nod, the condition itself was tempting for stella, cause she now has a reason to become stronger.

she had a worry about being a maid at first, in her heart she still think herself as a man, infact she still feeling embarrased about looking at her own body in the mirror, and since the job that sophia offer is being her maid, that mean thas she has to wear a maid ouftit something that in her previous lives dream that someone else wearing it like her girlfriend and not her, so when she hear that the duke offer her another job, she was shock, but overall she happy cause she doesn't has to wear that outfit.

a weak has passed since then, at first stella had a hard of understanding of the language of the world that she's in, but thank to the teacher who patiently teach stella how to read, stella manage to learn them in a matter of few day, sometime that astonished the teacher itself, he though that it would take at least more day for stella to understand but stella manage to exceed the expectation of her teacher.

of course is not because stella is a genius of study or something, but because of the skill she just bought when the duke appoint her as sophia bodyguard, [ memory ] with that skill stella manage to sharpen her own memory, and use it to memorize everything that her teacher say.

but the skill itself is not the only reason how stella manage to understand all of that, is also because her own intelegence and understanding that make stella manage to learn everything in short amount of time.

the teacher itself was impressed by stella performance not only because she manage to make up the study that she was left out, she even manage cacth up to the lesson that sophia is learning.

once a week, stella study change where stella will has a new training regime with the knight, the training itself was hard enough both mentally and pysically for stella, first by exercising her body by doing some light work out before the instructur start teaching her, how to use a sword.

the instructur really put a work on her, as he casually beat the shit out of stella, and every day she always goes to the infarmary to get healed by the doctor and get beat up again by the instructur in the next day, is a good thing that her regeneration skill got level up cause if is not then the wound and bruise that she got from the previous day, will remain in her body in the next day when she will get another beating form the instructur.

though she pissed by the way instructur train her, but she can't help but admit that the training was paid of, in the matter of a few day she manage to beat a fellow knight in a spar, though it was a close call, but she it still her first win.

everyday was exhausted for stella, her body was pushed beyond her limit by the instructur, but even then stella doesn't mind, she can see that even though the instructur sometime yell at her, she knew that the instructur is also an understanding person, from the way he command her to rest when she almost about to fall and giving some tips to improve herself.

"oh, she doing it again, she really is fearless huh," say one of the knight who once again she fox brown girl chalange the instructur.

"at the very least she better than you," say the girl knight beside her.

at that time stella run toward the instructur with her wooden sword try to give the instructur a scratch but at that time, he don't do anything and just counter every single attack given to him.

'tch, he doesn't give me any type of opening, then i just need to make it,' though stella who at that time charge toward the instructur who only took a stance and clash his sword with the little girl, at that time stella release her sword and raised her hand and clench her fist and throw a punch to the instructur who try to stop the little girl punch.

but at that time that was what stella really aim, the instructur doesn't realise yet, but the sword that stella release earlier was not on the ground, instead was between her tail.

and at that moment, the instructur try to make a distance from stella but it was to late, 'this is it,' though stella who at that time pick up her sword who was held by her own tail and slash the instructur with all the strengh she had.

at that time there was a silence between them, no one make a move, at that time the instructur touch his chest who was hit by a wooden sword by stella, 'if this the real battle, then i would be a goner,' though the instructur who form a smile at his face.

"you have won, that was a nice blow," sat the instructur who at that time the crowd cheer for stella for winning for the first time.

after that stella got a chalenge from each of the knight who watch the fight, witch literaly everyone, they were inspired by the little girl determination, and thus decided to become stronger, there's no way they just gonna stand there and show such pathetic performance, while the little girl took another step toward her goal.

"not bad, you manage to catch up to miss sophia study," say the teacher to stella who was really impress, but decide not to show it, not because she doesn't like the girl, but to make the girl not to cocky, a lot of noble sometime like that, especially one with talent, who was usually shower with praise, they become cocky, arrogant, think that they were better than anyone else.

that the reason why he doesn't give great compliment for stella even though her performance better then the arbento sibling, so she won't become someone like that, that goes with all his student.
