chapter 37 : the confusion

"congratulation your majesty," say the archduke to the king and queen which suprise them that they heard the voice of the archduke vincent along with his wife who seem to be pleased about the engagement of their son after what happened between them.

"why thank you archduke, archduchess for attending this party as well," say queen riana who was happy that the archduke family celebrate their happiness, even be the first one to congratulate them, it's look like everything went well after all.

"i like to apalogize as well for our rudeness for annaul our children engagement a few years ago without your agreement," say king jarvis who at that time say that with a loud voice to make the archduke to respond.

"you don't have to worry your majesty, since my daughter is already been healed and was engaged as well with the most wonderful person in the whole kingdom," say the archduke who at that time drop the bomb in the middle of the hall.

at that time the king and the queen not to mention all the noble in the room was shock abaout the news but before they manage to say anything the door in the corner of the room was open revealing lucilia with her brother jeremy who accompany her.

Lucilia and jeremy walk toward their parent who at that time was in the middle of the hall while lucilia was looking around to find a shocking stella who her mouth was open unable to say anything because of the sudden reveal of their engagement.

Looking at the sight before her eye, lucilia couldn't help but giggle, she never see stella looking like that, as she feeling refresh seeing her fiancee shocking face for the first time before she walk toward her parent along with brother.

"i'm sorry that our children is late your majesty, since lucilia eye just being cure recently she need a little time to adapt to her cure eye so she won't get a headache," say the archduke with a smile on his face, clearly he and her wife planned this all along, that was proven by the look on their face.

while duke arbento has an amuse smile on his face since he knew this kind of thing will happen soon or later, their plan is actually very simple they make sure to let the other people think that the archduke daughter is still blind so when the royal family officially make the announcement of their children engagement, they as well tell the news about the archduke daughter who was healed as well of her engagement with a mysterious person who cure her.

they doing this is to make sure that the royal family can't do anything since they just announce the engagement of their son a few moment ago, and it would make the royal family a laughstock if they cancel the engagement that was officialy made a few moment ago, just to make a new one with the archduke family.

"no problem, is a pleasent suprise as well," say king jarvis who forcefully smile because of the sudden revelation, no matter what kind of plan his majesty think to stop this, they already plant the seed, there is no turning back now.

"lucilia, jeremy why don't we go to other place, i'm sure that your majesty has a lot of guess who want to congratulate them as well, so we have to take our leave," say the archduke who bow his head as they decide to go back to their estate since their objective is finish.

while the the king himself just nod his head while he clench his fist before let the archduke and his family leave.

an a hour later, the duke and duchess arbento decide to leave as well since they still had a lot of work in their home.

meanwhile stella who was riding a carriage with the other has a lot of though about today event, she has to say that she was really impressed by the archduke plan to announce she and lucilia engagement.

though maybe by the majority people will think the reason why the archduke doing that is to take revenge of what the royal family doing by annaul their engagement, but the real reason he doing that is to make the royal family helpless about the situation, and because they already spread the seed, there is no way they can take it back.

'but still, i never though that the archduke will announce me and lucilia engagement that fast, i though it will take a few year until it was announce,' though stella as she just look at the window before going back to the arbento estate with this though on her mind.

in the morning stella decide to go to the archduke estate to meet the archduke by using the duke saying that she was a messanger, so the spy won't get suspicious of her.

"so, can you guys explain it, ?" ask stella as she was fold her arm and glaring at the vincent couple for declaring she and lucilia engagement to the public without her knowing.

"we though is the best time to announce lucilia and your engagement to the public, after the announce of their son engagement to make sure they won't try to do something like cancel their engagement and propose a new engagement to us," say the archduke who explain to stella who was nod in agreement.

It was true that if they want to strike the iron, they need to do it when is still hot, just like what the archduke do in the castle, but is still bother her since they just do what they want without her permission.

"by the way, if i may ask, what make you so interesting about that book, do you perhaps now what contain in it, ?" ask the archduchess as she try to change the subject as it's look like they have been put the girl into something she doesn't want.

"i don't know what this book contain, but i do know about the language that this book contain though," say stella as the other shock form what stella said.

"Is that true, ?" Ask the archduke as stella nod her head as she expect this kind of reaction.

"I see, stella by all mean don't tell this to other people, since i doubt that the're going to stay quiet if they know about this," say the archduchess as she knew a group of people who want to know what exactly contain in that book.

meanwhile in the castle, the king was furious as he was on the cell while beating the servant who was task by him to watch over the archduke and tell him the news about them, but apparently he failed the task he was given and now he was being torture by the king itself.

"can you explain, how did the archduke daughter was cured now and furthurmore who is this person who cure her, ?" ask the king who look at the beaten servant who was tied up in the cell.

"i-i do not know, p-please f-for-give me, y-your majesty," say the servant as he beg the king, but at that time the king whip him again.

"don't you undestand what you had done, because of your lack of information, i have been humiliated by them in front of eveyone, and now you have the guts to ask for forgiveness," shout the king as he whip the servant who at that was no longer has the energy to shout in pain as his body grew weaker.

"dispose this man," say the king who hand it the whip to the prison guard while the other offer him a towel to whipe out the blood on his face.

'if what the archduke saying was true, then that person might be even stronger that the king-no they might be even more powerful that the 4 lancer itself, i can't make any rush move since only lena out of 4 lancer who can still fight,' though the king as he clench his fist while making his way to the castle.

meanwhile in the duke estate stella was happily read a story to her younger sister as she happily listen to her sister as she reading the book.

"sis.. sis.." say eve who that time was playing with her tail.

"stella, are you in here, ?" ask the head maid as she knocking the door of stella room.

"yes, wait a minute," say stella as she put her sister down and give her a book for her to read, though she doesn't know if eve knew how to read though.

"head maid, is something the matter, ?" ask stella as she whisper something to stella ear who at that time nod her head, before she go to the duke office.
