chapter 36 : the party

a few days later, stella and the other knight was prepared to go to the party as they wear the clothes that was prepared for them by the duke, right now they're on the way to the castle as stella was sitting with sophia while looking at the window.

"wow, look stella, is the castle," say sophia who about to go to the castle while holding her bodyguard, in fact this is the first time stella was doing her job as a bodyguard, so she need to make a good impression to the duke.

Though she can't help but to look at the window along with sophia while swinging her tail in excitement.

"kids, behave yourself alright," say the duchess who at that time scold sophia and stella, who silently back to their sit until the carriage stop in the entrance.

at that time a maid suddenly came and greet them with such hostily.

"greeting duke and duchess arbento, as well as the other," say the maid to them, at that time she welcome them with a warm welcome as the maid guide them to where the party was held.

in there, they are a lot of noble who was enjoying the banquet that was prepared as well as talking to the other high rank noble such a duke an the archduke who was sworn by the crowd of people.

"hmm, i'm hungry," say sophia as she, stella and her brother was sitting.

"don't you just got a snack a few minute ago, how can you be hungry again," say barton to her sister as sophia just look away in embarrassed.

"you stay here, let me get some snack for you guys," say barton as stella decide to go with barton to bring some food for sophia as well.

"stella, how are you in the past few month, ?" ask barton who was curious, since they were to busy with each other, sure they meet plenty of time in the mansion but it was just a simple greeting.

"i'm fine you master barton, thank you for worrying me," say stella try to reasurring him.

"really, but i heard you got a lot of injured when you got your first mission," say barton to stella who isn't convince.

"is a long story, i can't tell you in here, but maybe later," say stella to barton who just nod and pick up a a few snack before return to sophia who was waiting.

"we're back," say barton as he and stella brought a lot of food with them.

"welcome back brother, stella," say sophia as she was accompanied by a golden hair girl that was tied to a pony tail with her blue eye.

"oh, who is this, ?" ask barton to the girl who give a bow to barton while introduce herself.

"m-my name is alicia wanzia, is a pleasure to meet you two," say rhe girl to barton.

"my name is barton arbento, while this girl is our bodyguard stella auburt," say barton who introudce himself as well as stella who bow a little to alicia.

"brother, the food," say sophia as she holding her stomach.

"oh right, here," say barton as she give sophia her share of food as well as alicia who silently thnak them for the food.

as they talk about a lot of thing, suddenly a group of people suddenly come that make the crowd look at them.

"are they the royal family, ?" ask stella as looking toward the person who was just came.

"yes, the one in the front is the king, jarvis rosburg," say barton as he pointed the man who wear a crown with red hair and yellow eye color.

"while beside him, is the queen, riana rosburg," say barton to the queen, she has a beautiful blonde hair with blue eye.

"the one in the back is the first prince as well the crown prince of this kingdom, leonardo rosburg," say barton who pointed to the first prince, he has the queen beautiful blond hair as well her eye color.

while hearing that name stella eye widen before she look at the first prince with her eye narrow at him, sure that she never meet that person, but she kind of get to her bad side already since he annauled his engagement with lucilia withou a second though after knowing about her condition of being blind.

"while the last one, is the second prince, george rosburg," say barton who pointed to other kid who look the same age as the first prince though his hair and eye colour is the sama as the king.

"i thank you all for coming to my childrens birthday even with all of your busy schedule," say the king who speak in the middle of the party.

"we have been through a lot this year, when the war happen, many soldier has lost their life for our sake, a lot of them is a friend, a family, we may grief for their death, but we have to be grateful as well because of their sacrifice, we still here, for our future children and the future of this kingdom," say the king as they party like there is no tomorrow.

at that time the king look at his queen who nod her head and once again walk to middle of the party.

"as you know the reason why we held this party is for my children birthday as well to officially announce their engagement as well," say the king who caught the attention of the noble throught the rumour the hear that the first prince was annulled from his engagement with the archduke daughter since the archduke daughter was a blind girl.

at that time the eldest son of the king and queen quickly walk toward the hall with a girl with violet hair and eye, while the second prince also walking with a girl with black hair and black eye.

"i now officially annouce the engagement of my son leonardo rosburg with lady violet starkrez from the viscount starkrez family, as well as my second son george rosburg with lady rosaria blake from the duke blake family," say king jarvis as the other noble clap their hand of the official engagement of the prince of their country, though a few of the noble slighty look at the archduke vincent who to their suprise clap his hand with his wife while walking to the middle of hall.
