chapter 18 : the plan

"trap them, do you have any plan, ?" ask troy who give stella a chance to speak since they run out of idea, it took 1 to 2 day for them to actually arrive here, if they somehow manage to comeback and report this news to the guild, it will take more than a day to prepare a reinforcement to come to this village, especially since the war just ended, the guild was really busy since there almost no manpower left in there.

"yes, but first may i ask, how deep is the monster nest in that cave, ?" ask stella to troy.

"it take around 5 minutes for me to go down there, so i say is quite deep, judging from how moist their nest is," explain troy.

"then last question, are they any sort of exit in that cave other then than the cave entry that we found, ?" ask stella.

"there's none," say troy that make stella form a smile on her face.

"i now how we can kill the other monster, but i will need some help, and an axe," say stella to them.

"what, ?" say them in union, after that stella quickly went to her room to rest earlier, since if she sleep with other woman again then she most likely will hit her head again just so she can sleep.

in the morning, stella and the other were ready to kill those monster, using a plan stella come up with.

"alright, here the plan, we going to chop down wood as much as you can, and we're going to block the cave entrance before we light it up with fire, killing them by suffocate them in that cave, with no chance of escape," stella explain to other who quickly chop down the wood, and put as much as wood as posible in to the cave entrance.

"alright, now to strength it," say stella who made a pillar of stone in the entrance so the monster won't be able to push the log out even if they try.

"fire ball," say stella who shoot her magic in the entrance, while at that time the monster that was sleeping suddenly wake up because something was wrong, at that moment the monster quickly run toward the exit, but since they can't destroy the wall, they become suffocating, and one by one of them begin to die.

'wow, never though i got this much exp from killing those monster,' though stella who at that time decide to see her level later, since the fight isn't over yet.

"i feel kind of bad for them," say laura who look at the monster who was dying in that cave, without knowing what was going on.

"you said it," say glenn who look at the cave entry when suddenly he feel something inside the cave.

"prepare yourself," say troy who then all the villager went to a saver place since they don't want to become a burden for this adventurer.

at that time the monster destroy the entrance that was block by a bunch of wood and stone pillar, the appearance of the monster itself was bigger than the monster that they encounter, by judging from how that monster destroy the log with ease, they know that they have to be serious to kill that monster.

"so that the mother monster guardian huh," say stella who look at the monster stat, though right now it's stat was more than half it had, since that monster rush to destroy the entrance by using it's own body.

"we need to kill that monster, and after that we need to make sure that mother monster is dead," say troy to them, but even if they manage to kill the monster guardian, they can't do anything in that hot cave.

"may i ask to go to kill the mother monster, ?" ask stella for a permission to them.

"you can't go, is not because we don't believe in you that you can't kill it," say troy who already seen stella power, without a doubt he believe that she still hasn't show her true power yet.

"but right now that cave temperature is not something you can handle," explain the man to the little girl.

"i can do it troy, i have a resistence against heat, that the reason why i decide to use this strategy since fire can't hurt me," say stella to troy.

"are you serious stella, do you have a resistence, ?" ask troy with a serious expression.

"yes i have," say stella to troy.

"alright you can go, but make sure you came back alive," say troy to stella.

"you guys too, don't let that monster beat you guys up," say stella who try to joke at that situation though a few of them smirk.

"don't worry, after this fight we still need to clear the dungeon, what make you think that i gonna die here," say glenn who unseath his sword, ready to fight the monster.

"i have other thing to do as well, right now this monster won't be the one who stop me from achieving it," say jean who hold her two dagger, ready to attack as well.

"alright, then see ya," say stella who run toward the entrance of the cave, but at that time the monster try to stop stella from entering since it's duty to protect the mother monster.

"you not gonna stop her," shout troy who at that time swing his axe toward the monster who was blast to the other side.

"go," command troy.

"yes," and with that stella enter the cave.

"sorry but you won't be able to see your mother," say troy who challenge the monster, and the monster itself took the bait as the monster rush toward troy who stand and swing her axe toward the monster who block it with it's head.

"grrr, now do it," say troy who was holding the monster back, as laura cast a spell that make a wood golem who hold the monster, while jean and gleen move toward the monster, slash them with all their might.

"take this," say gleen who infuse his strike with magic and slash it toward the monster body, while jean did the same but she infuse her dagger with wind magic, to make her cut more powerful, and she slash it's one of that monster leg, making it unable to move.

that monster itself was trying to get up but troy use that change and lift his axe swing it to the monster, giving the monster the final blow and making the monster drew it's last breath.

"now, the last is up to you stella," say troy who look at the cave entrance.

meanwhile in the cave, stella was already in the nest where the mother monster was.

"look like it just you and me huh," say stella who hold her sword and aim at the mother monster who roaring at her.
