chapter 17 : mother monster

"well about that... i don't know as well" say stella who just rub the back of her head, while embarressed as she look the other way.

"what, i though your clone or wahtever it is, follow them to their lair," say gleen who seems to be in lost of though.

"the thing is, when my clone try to enter the cave, it were suddenly dispel itself, i don't know the exact reason, but i think that my clone has been eaten by those monster," say stella.

"do you know the exact location where the monster coming from, ?" ask troy.

"yes, maybe it takes a few minutes from here if we walk," say stella who look at the dark sky.

'if we want to attack them, it would be best to attack as soon as posible, but doing it right now, when we already exhausted might no be a good idea,' though troy who try to come up with a plan.

"in the morning, i will going to check on them," say troy after deep thinking.

"what, that too dangerous, at the very least let me help," say gleen to them.

"that right, at least bring one of us with you," say jean who agree with gleen.

"no, it will bring more danger, if a lot of people come, stella can you make another duplicate of your to show the way to the cave, ?" ask try who stella give a nod.

and after resting for a few a hour, troy get up with stella who at that time activate her magic to make a duplicate of herself, "my clone only last for 10 minutes, so if you can, please go and come back as fast as posible," say stella who wss a little worried of the older bald man.

her clone was killed in that place without her knowing what actually happened, she just hope the reason was because her clone was run out of time or just lose her focus while in there.

"don't worry, once i found out about what actually happened in that cave, i will return as quickly as posible," say troy who touch stella head while try to comfort the little girl.

"you are still young, but sometimes you act like an adult, a kid like you should enjoy your life, like the other normal kid you know," say troy who then leave the village to check what happened in the cave.

after leaving te village, troy quickly run while carrying duplicate stella on her back while the duplicate pointed where the cave that she found.

'it look like the duplicate she make was not perfect,' though troy who look at fake stella who don't has any type of expression, it look like a golem who just following the order of it's master.

"so this is their lair huh, can you dispel yourself and send the girl a news that i already arrive, also tell her that i'm going to be back to them as soon as posible," say troy to the clone who doesn't reply but seems to understand and dispel herself.

"alright now let's see, what you guys are cooking," say troy who carefully walk toward the cave before he look down at the entrance.

'i need to go deeper,' though troy sho then went deeper inside the cave before his eye widen, of the side he saw, 'what is this...'

meanwhile in the village, while stella was having breakfast that was preparing by the villager, she suddenly stop eating the food that half way through her mouth.

"what wrong, ?" ask jean who look at stella who was stop eating.

"i got a news from my duplicate," say stella who fhen other member stop what they are doing.

"so what happened, are they got attack, ?" ask gleen who was that he unconsciously pick up his sword.

"no, he say that he will comeback as soon as posible, so there is no need to worry," say stella who at that time make the other feel ease at their heart.

"i see, then we will wait," say laura and they agreed to trust troy that he will comeback.

"is almost night, where the hell is he," say gleen who was realy impatient, he though that the investigation will take about 1 hour or 2 at most, not all day.

"be patient, you know how capable troy is, furthurmore, we still have something to do as well," say jean who look at the monster from the night before, and it's look the number decrease from last night.

"alright, let's go everyone," shout gleen who holding his sword and leading everyone to defend the village from the monster.

"nature binding," say laura who grow vine from the ground and to bind the monster, while the other use that oppurtunity to kill the monster, while they were distracted.

"fire spear," say stella who make a few spear out of fire, 'even though i can make a spear out of fire, but to actually form it, to a form that i want it took a lot of efford,' though stella.

"go" say stella shoot her spear and went to attack the monster.

and after a few hour, they manage to stop the monster from entering the village, "hah, it's finally over," say gleen who look at the villaher who got injured was being treat by stella.

'with troy absence, our defence decrease rapidly, is a good thing that no one got a fatal injuries,' though gleen who then got up and help the other who was injured.

after a few a hour troy finally back to the village, where he slowly walk to the chief office where the other was also there.

"so, what you so long, ?" ask gleen to troy who close his before giving them a serious look.

"i foun a mother monster," at that time all the member party aside from stella who still new froze in place.

"are you sure about it troy, ?" ask laura.

"i'm sure, that also the reason why it took me so long to comeback, since i have to make sure, that the monster that i saw was the mother monster.

"what mother monster, ?" ask stella to jean.

"a type of breeding monster, is not a type of monster who can attack, but what make it more dangerous is that monster can produce an infinite amount of monster by giving birth to them," explain jean to stella who confirmed it with a nod, understanding what it mean.

"i heard a rumour that monster is also the reason monster paradise is exist," say stella.

"monster paradise, what is that, ?" ask stella.

"a land that full of monster, even though the land was just full of mountain, but our kingdom and dwarf kingdom decide to make a giant wall that seperated them from our land just in case something happen," say laura.

"so what do we do now, we can't just sit here doing nothing while that monster will keep increasing her children and hunt us to feed on them ," complain glenn as he doesn't want to be eaten by a monster.

"i also agree with you gleen, but i don't think we have enough power to kill all of them, epsecially since we have to deal the mother monster protector," say laura who don't think acting rush will do them good, even if they manage to get rid of her children, there are still the mother monster protector, the oldest offspring of the mother monster whose duty is to protect the mother monster from any type of danger.

"so what do we now, ?" ask gleen who impatient with the situation, he knew that if they attack blindly it will do no good for them, but if they don't do anything fast, then the monster population will increase.

"we can trap them though," say stella sho speak her though to everyone.
