chapter 16 : monster attack

after that stella exit with the other coming along after seeing stella was sweeting, at that time when they were already furthur enough, stella collapse to the ground while panting.

"stella are you alright, ?" ask laura who was worried for the little girl, who suddenly collapse in front of them.

"yes, just tired," say stella who just sit on the ground while try to recover her mp.

'never though that regenerate someone organ and limb will take a lot of magic power, maybe i should try to find a way to use my magic efficiently,' though stella, who remember that in her shop system, there are a lot of skill that have a high price, maybe she can find a good skill that will do her, a great favor.

"can you walk, we still need to look for chief of this village, ?" ask troy who then stella try to get up.

"don't worry, i'm fine, we can continue," say stella to troy who nod then they decide to visit the village chief after they ask the people in the village.

"i apologize for not giving you guys a warm welcome, but as you know, our village was kind of busy," say the chief who look really tired, from the way he look, even his eyelish were black, prove that he doesn't got enough sleep for the past few days.

"that alright," say troy to the chief village who then explain the situation.

"is start about a month, suddenly this monster come out of nowhere and kill a lot animal in the forest, at first we decide to ignore since they were only hunt animal, but in these past 2 week, they start to attack the villager," say the chief to them.

"we try to attack, but each day was even more difficult from the previous one, because of that a lot of villager died," say the chief.

'but there are no sign of a new grave around here though, wait those monster recently attack the villager instead of animal, don't tell me,' though stella who her face become pale.

"we couldn't even give them a proper rest, those monster took their body and devour them," say the chief who made the other shock except a few such as stella and troy who already figure it out.

"i see, so that why we don't see any new grave around those monster devour them," say laura.

"those monster," say gleen who grip his fist really hard.

"for today please rest well, because tonight you would be able to rest well," say the chief who then show stella and the other their room.

'this is bad,' though stella who at that time was changing her clothes with other female companion, while they undress their clothes and revelaing their naked bodies, stella decide to look away, since she was to Embarrassed to undress her clothes infront of woman.

"stella what are you doing, you have to quickly rest, so change your clothes, since you are likely the most tired one from our group," say jean who aproach the little girl and undressing the girl with the pajama that the village chief was preparing for them.

"etto, why are we sleep together, ?" ask stella to the older woman, how can she asleep when someone like her was next to her.

"don't mind the detail, she always clinging to me everytime we sleep together," say jean to stella who then fantasies laura clinging to troy and gleen.

"of course not, i'm not like that you know," say laura who answer stella like she can read her mind.

"juat sleep, we might not be able to sleep in a few hour, so let's take every chance we got," say jean to them who decide to sleep, while stella is still struggling to sleep since there are 2 beautiful woman beside her.

in the night, they wake up and prepare their gear while stella rub her head, she almost couldn't sleep so the only way she can sleep, is to hit her head with sometime strong enough to lose her conciousness.

'is a good thing i manage to do it,' though stella who then look around the village where they prepare a weapon, and shield to protect themself.

at night, the group was ready to face the monster with stella on the back, since she was the only healer they had.

'hope they ok,' though stella who look at the forest where she can see a movement of a certain beast, at that moment everyone here the sound coming from the forest, and not only one but a lot of them start appearing, and run straihht toward the group.

"everyone get ready, attack," say troy who charge at the monster with everyone, who thrust their weapon into the monster body.

"nature binding," say laura who at that time, root of the tree start appearing and holding the monster which restrict fheir movement.

"all right, let's go," shout gleen who infuse his sword with magic and cut down the monster, with everyone follow his lead.

but at that time, the monster keep increasing that make them had a hard time, 'they just keep coming,' say troy who at that time feel something warm behind him, as he look back he can see, not one but mutiple fire ball in the sky.

"fire ball," say stella who at that time shoot the fireball toward the monster, burning them into ashes, making the other monster in state of panic.

"now, is time for us to charge," command troy who hold his weapon and start slaughter the remaining monster, before the other monster decide to retreat.

"we did it, we survive,"

shout from the villager who was happy that they survive the monster attack but also manage to make them retreat back to the forest.

"don't celebrate just yet, those who can still standing help the other who are wounded," say troy who command the other as the people who are not fighting start treating the wounded people.

stella itself were already working, start treating the wounded people, her group tell her to use the healing magic to people who was heavily wounded.

after that, stella and the other are ask by the chief to come his office to have a meeting about the situation.

"the monster was definitely not a strong one, but the problem is the number, if not because stella support, the damage will become even bigger," say troy to the chief.

"village chief, if we may ask, do you know where their lair is, ?" ask laura.

"unfortunely we don't know, we are to busy try to survive, and not looking for those information," say the chief with a bit of regret on his voice.

"actually i know though," say stella to them.

"what" shout almost most of them as they look at the brown fox girl, who show a nervous smile.

"how did you know, ?" ask jean.

"how many are they, ?" gleen next.

"is it far from here, ?" laura as well.

"silence, if the three of you can stop asking some question, i'm sure that stella can give us some answer," say troy who look at the little girl who nod back at troy as a confirmation.

"where should is start then," say stella.

"maybe from the beginning," say troy who want to know exactly how stella manage to find out such information even though she was here with them for the hold time.

"alright," say stella who then make a duplicate of herself, "this is one of magic, it allow me to make a copy of myself, and to command them to any kind of my command, when they monster retreat, i use my duplicate magic to make a clone of my self and turn her into a bird to follow the monster from behind, while i'm waiting for my duplicate to dispel and send the information to me," stella explain to them.

"so, do you know what are their goal from doing this, ?" ask troy to stella.
