chapter 11 : stella promise

at that time stella doesn't say anything only lift her sword and run toward astrella, as stella jump and swing her sword toward astrella head, but before her attack could reach her, stella was stop in the mid air by astrella which her right hand hold stella neck while her left was piercing her dagger toward stella body.

"you know, a lot of foe that i face use this kind of attack just to kill me, do you think that an attack from a mere child like you can hurt me, ?" ask astrella who at that time the sword that stella hold on her hand drop to the ground.

"this is the end, good bye, little girl," say astrella who at that time tied up her grip toward stella neck but before she can do it, stella poof and turn into a smoke, revealing that stella who was almost kill by astrella was a fake one.

'what.. is a fake, then where is she, ?' astrella though, before the sword that stella drop poof and reveal a brown fox girl who was holding a sword.

at that moment stella swing her sword toward the elder demon and since astrella doesn't has any time to react, stella manage to slash astrella left eye, making her scream in pain, while stella took step back before preparing her next move.

"i kill you... i swear kill you," shout astrella who at that time hold her left eye and look for stella who was already preparing another attack and slash astrella body, but astrella manage to avoid the attack although a part of her skin got cut by her sword.

'is too shallow, i have to cut her again,' though stella who try to swing her sword only to lose her grip and make her sword slip of her hand, at that time stella clench her fist and deliver a punch to the woman face who only grew angrier by stella action.

"get out from me you little brat," shout astrella who releasing a dark tipe magic who throw away stella from her side.

"this is. this is the first time ever someone manage to hurt me like this, in return i will kill you and destroy your body without anything remain in this world," say astrella who at that time cover her dagger with a powerful dark magic then slash it to the air, create a powerful slash that aim at stella.

'is coming this way, come one body, move,' thiugh stella who try to get up, but her body is already reach her limit, at that time the attack was close to her, but before the attack reach her, someone block the attack and change the projection of the attack to a different direction.

"i know that you guys are shameless, but to think you guys would stood up so low and attack a defendless kid," say the man who was standing up infront of stella.

"are you ok little miss, ?" ask the man to stella, he had a black hair with an eye of the colour of the ocean, but what make stella gasp is the armor that the man was wearing.

"yes, thank you for your help," say stella to the man.

"it's our duty to depend the other who need our help, and as for you, i advice you to retreat before it's too late," say the man to astrella who at that time look not really happy, but at that time she touch her left eye before look at stella direction and give her a powerful look that full with hatred.

"i swear one day i will come back to pay this humilition, and i will kill you and all your regand as precious," say astrella who at that time her body began to fade.

"that day will never happen, cause i will become much stronger, stronger than anyone else and i will protect all my precious people, that my promise," shout stella with all her might to astrella who was nowhere to be found, but she surely hear stella declaration.

"ha... ha.... ha," panting stella who at that time drop her body to the ground, exhausted beyond her body limit.

"look like you worked really hard, jusr rest alright, leave the rest to your senior," say the man who then stella consciousness begin to fade away.

a couple hour later, stella woke up in the infarmary where at that time her whole was cover in bandage and not to mention all the pain she feel when she try to move her body.

'even though i have a regeneration skill but the proficienty of the skill is still too low, i need to level up the skill even furthur and i need to become stronger as well,' though stella who just found her goal to become stronger, at that time she hear a footstep from outside.

"i see that you're awake," say the man who save her at that time.

"thank you for your help at that time my name stella, stella auburt, please to meet you," say stella who intruduce herself to the man who nod before intruduce himself.

"my name is beth trowser, the knight from arbento household, i heard that you have been helping around the village by offer them your healing magic," say beth to stella who give a little nod.

'so this person is instructur beth huh,' though stella who remember that name was mention by barton who sweating out of fear of that person.

"look like you were awake huh," say ergi who at that time enter the house to see the little fox girl who just awake.

"yes, sorry for making you guys worry," say stella to ergi.

"there no need, even before the fight start you already use a lot of your magic to heal the injure villager, healing that much people was certainly drained your magic capacity," say ergi to stella wounded stella, he look over her body and almost every part of it was cover in bandage.

when he heard that stella was fighting a demon, ergi couldn't help but blame himself since he was the one who instruct stella to guard the village while they were fighting the monster.

if not for beth that arrive on time, there is no doubt that stella will be killed.

"i'm sorry that we're don't come to aid you, it was my fault that you almost got kill, please forgive me," say the old knight to stella.

"is not your fault sir, if you not told me to go to the village, then most likely that the villager will die in her hand," say stella to ergi who was a little better after hearing what stella said.

"though the bigger problem now that one of the demon has her eye on you right now, you can be consider lucky to at least have your body intact," say beth to stella.

"beth, mind your language, stella is still a kid," say oscar who doesn't like how beth just randomly say something like that, and grab his collar

"you wouldn't there so you won't know, but that demon has her eye set on her, whenever she ready or not, she need to become stronger," say beth to to oscar who at that time beth use his hand to release oscar grip and walk outside the house.
