A young sorceress, Alyssa Sharr, is in search of her parents and battles with monsters, demons, and wizards alike to discover all she can about her past. As she searches across the many realms acquiring clues and information that will aid her in her search, a series of attacks redirect her attention to find out who is trying to kill her. She comes across new friends and allies while her enemies attempt to stop her. With each step she takes and each piece of new information she gets, Alyssa comes to discover that she has stumbled across something far more dangerous and complex than a search for her parents, or a simple assassin wanting her dead. Chapter 34: Transmutation of the Spirit

In what seemed like slow motion, Alyssa watched helplessly as Markus’ body seemed to metamorphosize into mist which then seemed to get absorbed into one of the Siad. The Figure then lowered its hood revealing his face, and despite being heavily scarred, skeletal looking, and somewhat older the Siad resembled Markus. He stood there grinning at both Derek and Alyssa as he clutched her pendant in his hand.

“What…who…how is that possible?” Derek stammered, displaying that he was equally surprised and confused as Alyssa.

“A loss for words doesn’t suit you. Needless to say, I am one of the chief servants of the Titan of Darkness.” Markus stated stretching his callous smile.

“So, you’re what, lord of the Siad, too.” Derek said with a snort. Markus glared at him with a paralyzing gaze.

“I am the Siad.” Markus said.

“How?” Alyssa asked curiously, and Markus appeared more than eager to explain.
