Chapter Eleven

Dani's POV

"You're such a pig!" I finally say after several attempts to come up with something.

He slowly starts walking back towards me with that ever so mischievous smile on his lips?

"What are you doing? I ask taking several steps back. I quickly dug into my hand bag and fished out a large hairbrush

"I dare you to take one more step towards me" I said pointing the brush at him.

Before I could even finish my statement, he was in front of me and before I could say something else, he swept me off my feet and I was in his arms.

He carried me like a child, causing me to scream out loud.

"Logan, what are you doing? Put me down! This is no longer a joke!" I shouted.

The stupid hairbrush couldn't even defend me because it was useless in my hands, I used it to hit him several times but apparently he couldn't feel a thing because he didn't even flinch once.

God! This is so embarrassing, the maids and house helps all ran out when they heard me scream and then they saw me in Logan's arms. They were giggling and whispering to each other as they went back to their duty post but Logan didn't seem to give a care in the world.

"Are you deaf? I said, put me down! " I shouted again.

He didn't answer, just continued walking up the stairs, we got to the top and he still didn't let me go.

"What do you want Logan? Okay, now I'm pleading with you. Please put me down." I said in a much gentler voice

"No Dani, I won't out you down. You dared me and I'm going to teach you a lesson. Nobody dares Logan Revás and gets away with it that easily." he said as he continued in his way with me in his arms

Okay, now I'm really irritated but I can't do anything. I can't read his mind so I don't know what to do, my next step might aggravate the situation and egg him on, so I just keep quiet and stop struggling.

We got into the room and he walked in quietly, without a word he just tossed me on the bed.

"Ouch! Why did you do that?" I scolded

He didn't say a word, he just stared at me smiling

"You made my day Dani. In fact this is one of the best days I've had in a really long while." He said with calmness in his eyes.

Every anger I felt towards him washed away as I heard those words and my heart softened a bit.

"Seeing you makes me smile without reason. I guess you're my happy pill." He said as he approached me.

The sincerity in his eyes turned into something else in an instant, something more raw and dangerous and my fight or flight instinct kicked in immediately

"H-hey! Stay there, don't come any closer!" I shouted sitting up. "I can already see that you're up to no good from that smile on your face, I know what you are planning so stay away."

"Ahh Dani, that's why I like you, you're a fast learner. You read me like a book already." He said, his voice barely above a whisper as he stood at the foot of the bed.

"What are you thinking of doing?"

"What girlfriend and boyfriends do" he answered without missing a beat.

"Oh for fuck sake! Can't you let that go" I asked in frustration

"You started this Dani when you walked up to me in the club and seduced me with your sexy body and creamy voice, you knew darn well what you were doing. You awakened every sleeping desire in me and now you think I'll just let you run away from me? Not so fast darling"

I don't know why, I can't explain it but I am thrilled.

Hearing Logan say those words to me must have messed with my brain because I'm no longer thinking straight, the only thing my brain can process right now is the insanely handsome man standing in front of me, staring lustfully at me.

"Stop staring at me like that! I said trying to feign irritation.

His gaze was weakening and enticing. I don't know how I'll be able to resist it much longer, u became hot and sweaty even though the room was adequately air conditioned.

"Are you finding it difficult to resist me right now? Because it looks like you're having a bit of a struggle" he said

Fuck! He noticed

He came up to me so fast I fell on my back onto the bed immediately

I was trapped under him.

"Get off" I said, the words were so soft it didn't even sound convincing to my ears.

He wasn't really lying on top of me, just towering over me on the bed but I could feel his body heat, his face was mere inches away from mine.

"I think I like this position Dani, it allows me to stare at your beautiful face even more closely" he said, his breath kissing my lips

My cheeks must be blood red.

"If you think you can get me so easily by your cheap and predictable advances then you're really mistaken. You must think I'm easy to get because of the situation at which you met me but I'm immune to all the charm you must think you possess, it won't work on me" I said to him with my voice so clear and steady, I was really proud of myself

I move to turn my face to the side in an attempt to avoid his gaze but he also moved his head in the wrong direction at the exact same time his and my lips met his.

I was in so much shock that I stupidly didn't do anything, I just left my lips there, on his lips as my eyes widened.

I kissed Logan Revás. Mistakenly

He pulled back with a satisfied smile.

"I'm sorry!" I yelled in utter mortification

"Dani, Dani, Dani." He said shaking his head and pointing at me

"First of all you seduce me and then now you just kissed me, I think you like me a little more than you care to admit. In fact you're the one making advances at me!" he said pointing an accusing finger at me.

Shit! I bury my face in my palm as I realize that this is only the first day.
