Chapter Sixteen

"It's ok." Iyke simply replied.

"Is that all he has to say about the dress? Just ok? It is more than ok! Anyways why do I even care?"

She thought.

After trying some other outfits on, she wore her old blue dress and was taken to a different section of the boutique.

Kendra immediately identified it to be the make-up and hair dressing section after seeing some make-up and hair dressing equipments. The reason for taking off the dress was to avoid staining it while dressing her hair and applying makeup.

"This is serious." She thought.

She could still feel the heavy gazes of the people on her but she decided to ignore them and maybe be a little sassy.

After they were done dressing her hair and making her up, she doubted eyes while looking at the mirror.

"Oh my God! Who said this damsel is ugly?" She exclaimed involuntarily and it drew the people's attention to her.

She changed back into one of the new dresses she had taken off.
