Chapter 36

I wasn't expecting it. I don't understand the reason she hit me. I frowned at her. I wouldn't be able to do anything. She looked like she wanted to hit me again.

I quickly stood on my feet. 

"You are nothing but a mere slave, bow your head and never glare at your master's wife."

The hell? They aren't even married yet. I thought she was a sweet innocent woman, and I never knew she would be the devil itself.

"Why are you always around Alpha Norman?"

  could answer. I've always felt as though he chases me around. 

"I'm never with him," I reply, bowing my head, but then, I felt her hand stroke my face again. The hell?

I couldn't hold it back again. I glared at her. 

"What is that look for?" 

"I have no idea why I'm being hit?" I wanted to know, at least. But her laughter echoed in the room. 

"If you don't want to be hit, stop lying."
