Chapter 119

ROHIT'S POV

I walked into my mother's room to see her and I smiled as I see that she looks a little different now. She looked better. Perhaps father coming to see her wasn't a bad thing, after all, I thought as I walked up to her bed and placed a kiss on her cheek. 

"How are you feeling mum?" 

"I feel better son. Is your father here?" she asked, and I shook my head still not understanding how she could tolerate that man even after what he had done to her.

"No, he's not. He was here for a while but Aunt Sam is here." I said. 

I winced as I watched the lights in my mother's eyes go out being replaced by a thick gloomy cloud. She was never going to let Aunt Sam come in here and she was already telling me that. 

"No, I don't want to see that woman ever again. You shouldn't be with her either Rohit." She scolded me.
