Turning his gaze away from the door in front of him, Amir was not quick enough to dodge the movement of one of the guards in that place.
When he least expected it, one man moved a blade to his throat while positioning himself behind him.
Amir's senses were good, so he noticed something was wrong moments before the opponent's action. However, the enemy had been quicker than him to correct his own mistake and, in the blink of an eye, was in a favorable position against this warrior.
Even though he had had good training in the Touma family, Amir was just an ordinary mortal. So after trying to escape, he was forced by his opponent to surrender while having that blade pressed against the base of his neck.
Simultaneously, the other guard at Tenur's door smiled, removing the protection he had on his face to look Amir in the eye, revealing his identity as an invader.
