Dinner was just like the other nights. The kids shared their adventures with them. They had waves of laughter and some moments when she felt tears in her eyes.
However, she believed those were not tears of sadness. On the contrary, she was unimaginably happy. She felt like she was the luckiest person in the world as she stared at her family.
"Please, I wish this was real." Not just a dream. She whispered to herself as her eyes roamed around the dining table.
Her husband sat at the center of the table while her son and Angelique sat on his other side. On the other hand, she was on Damon's left.
Of course, she remembered her agreement with her husband. They were going to make this work. They would treat their marriage as if it were the real thing.
"But sometimes, it still feels like it was a dream." Jules silently muttered in her head. It was just too good to be true. Her husband had turned out to be too perfect.
