Glamour's POV,

Previously...

"I've been out for five whole days?" I asked with wide eyes.

"Uhh, well 8 days if you add the first three days you blacked out for, before waking up for a few minutes only to blackout again," He answered while scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Shit! what exactly did you do to me," I asked pointing an accusing finger at him.

He raised his hands in defence saying

"Who? me? I didn't do anything."

I watched him closely and was about to say something, but then I heard the door open again and mom and Hamdi walked back in.

"Are you feeling much better?" mom asked and I nodded before saying.

"Can we just go home, I don't wanna be here anymore," I announced telling mom exactly what I was feeling.

"Oh honey, you're married now, remember?" mom said and gestured towards Mr husband before adding "you can't come back home with us anymore unless you're coming to visit," she then smiled before telling me that they are going back home and would be returning in the morning.

'Oh no, I can't even get the only thing I needed right now,' I thought to myself before looking at Mr husband and then he said something that I had least expected...

**Chapter begins***

"You could go with them, and stay a few days," He said and my eyes widened a little, I was definitely not expecting him to say that.

I had been expecting him to say something along the lines of no you can't, or for him to agree with what mom had said, but instead, he agreed to let me go with them.

"Oh dear, you don't have to listen to her," mom spoke, but he told her it was okay, and that he needed to go back to the Bahamas anyway so it would make him feel more at ease knowing that I was with them...

I looked at him confused as to why he would let me go with them without question, why was he trying to act nice though, he better not be thinking I would forgive him for what they did just because he's acting nice, I thought to myself while I waited for me to get discharged.

When we left the hospital room, he insisted he'd be the one to go drop me off at my parent's house, but I didn't want him to. I don't want him to ever set foot into my parent's house, and I know mom would ask him to come in if he goes to drop me off.

Mom told me to just go with him, and I couldn't understand why mom was acting all nice to him, when she doesn't have any idea about who he really is...

I wanted to ask mom why Maya wasn't here with them, but they had already gone to enter their own car and left before us.

I walked slowly to the car because my legs were a little sour from laying in one place for too long. Mr husband wanted to carry me to the car, but I insisted I would walk on my own.

We arrived at my parent's mansion a few minutes later, and I tried to open the car door, but before I did, Mr. husband opened it for me. I got out of the car without a word and went into the mansion.

When I entered the house, I was immediately greeted by the normal sweet scents which I didn't realize just how much I missed. The sweet scents of the grand hallways were always my most favourite thing to smell.

The grand hallways always had new flowers set in several vases, which were always changed after two days by the florist company that was contracted for that job.

I've always loved how the flowers were used to decorate the whole house. There was once a time when I used to want to become a florist because of how much I loved to decorate with flowers, but with time, I decided I would just major in events management since it also involves decorations.

I went upstairs to my room, leaving everyone else down the stairs. When I entered my room, I was expecting to see it just the way I had left it, but it wasn't. Everything looked so kept and well-arranged, some of my things were even packed up and set aside like they were going to be sent elsewhere.

Watching how my stuff was, made me realize how real my parents thought this whole wedding shit was. I sat down in my bed and tried so hard to hold back the tears that threatened to fall down my cheeks, and my lips quiver ever so slightly.

I hear a small knock on the door to my room, so I quickly tried to dry my face before the person knocking walks in. I looked up to see that it was Mr husband, and looked at him with a frown, what gave him the right to come up here, I thought in my head, but then he said he came to bid me farewell because he's going back to the Bahamas this night and might spend 3-5days over there...

I didn't say a word to him, because I couldn't care less about what he does or where he goes for that matter...

He left after a while, but I didn't say goodbye to him because I feel he doesn't deserve it...

My door flew open next and Maya came flying into the room and onto my body.

"Glam, what happened to you," she wheezes, in a high pitched voice, a voice she only uses when she was extremely worried...

"You do know I just got up, right," I asked her and she then pulled away slowly to look at me.

"You okay," she asked again and I nodded, but Maya knew something was amiss, the moment she looked into my eyes.

"Hey, please don't cry, you know you could tell me anything right," she said and hugged me while patting my back gently.

This was one of the main reasons why I couldn't possibly hate Maya, she's that friend I could always count on for comfort even when I wasn't asking.

Maya and I had been friends since fourth grade when my parents moved from Pakistan to California after they finished building their mansion.

Maya's Dad was a friend of Dad and they were also business partners. We had become friends since the first day we met, where our parents were having a cocktail party and we the kids were playing at our mansions playground.

As a kid, I was always the shy type, but Maya was the complete opposite. She was an adventurous kid right from day one, so she was the one who asked us to be friends.

"I don't wanna go back to him," I said, the tears I've been keeping at bay finally strolling down my cheeks.

"Should I kill him for you," Maya asked sounding so serious like she would actually be able to do it.

I looked at her with a straight face, but then we burst into fits of laughter...

Maya ended up sleeping over in my room.

The next morning, I woke up before Maya and got into the shower for a quick hot bath. when I was done, I came back inside the room and put on one of my baggy sweatshirts before going downstairs to greet mom and dad.

However, when I dropped down the stairs, the first person I saw was Hamdi, who seems to be returning from a morning run, in his singlets and joggers.

"Good morning Dee," I greeted.

"Good morning Munchkin," he answered back and I glared at him because he knew just how much I hated been called that by him, but he just wouldn't listen.

"Where is mom," I asked him but he only shrugs saying he hadn't seen her this morning.

I was about to go back upstairs to go check if mom and dad were in their room but then Hamdi stopped me with a question that I wasn't sure I was going to be able to answer.
