Chapter twenty five

Philip woke up, he had slept in his car, his back ached all over, he stayed up watching and waiting until he finally fell asleep.

He looked up and saw amber's window, it was undisturbed, she was probably still resting, he quickly started his car and went home to freshen up, he wanted to look smart and not show up later when she need his expertise looking all tired.

He bought breakfast and went home, he was still not yet married at forty-five he has a daughter he rarely sees and she stays with her mom out of town. but they talked often on phone.

that was why he liked his boss, she reminded him a lot of his daughter, and being close to her helped him greatly.

As he thought about it all, he needed a little bit of rest,

He would be back before she went for her early morning jogging.

He showered and took a little nap and when he woke up, he immediately checked his time.

"Oh my God!!!!!

 he knew she had already gone for a run so he decided to stop at the training dojo.

He went straight to where he knew she would be.

But she was not in the basement, he was calling her cell now

And it rang and rang continuously.

He did not know what to do, he went back to the house and kicked the door in, and entered the house he called out

Boss!!

Boss!!

He never called her by her name, he knew the power of her seat and he was to make things easy for her Nd respect her.

He continued to call out to her, as he went upstairs he checked and looked Around there was no trace of her.

He went back to his car now and sat he was anxious but outwardly calm.

He called Dante to verify if she was at his house.

"Hey, is amber at your house?

No, Philip is anything the matter?

I simply was just checking, I called her line, it was not going.

I know she will call back, I just want to be sure where she is.

Dante said "okay "

Understanding that it was hard for Philip to work with amber and he had to also be her charge and amber did little to conform to any kind of rule.

As Dante hung up he did not know what to do but, it was as if she had disappeared without a trace.

He slept in front of her house and did not hear anything happen it made him feel useless.

He thought of possibilities that could happen,

Only yesterday one of his men he had sent to watch amber was missing and now her,

He knew t could not be a coincidence nothing happened just like that, there are things to note and he had let his guard down and now he was in a fix.

There was nothing that made sense to him right now she could not just disappear, he knew she was responsible and never left work undone.
