Giannis passes the ball to Holiday, who's open on the wing, and he knocks down the 3-pointer. Making the score 29 to 20 in our favor. The Bucks are refusing to go away. Before I can even start dribbling the ball down the court. Tom calls a timeout.

We all head over, and he gives me a look. Telling me, it's time to sit out. There are 3 minutes left in the first quarter. That's three entire minutes the Bucks don't have to worry about me being on the court. And I don't know if this will last into the second quarter.

Tom might keep me in for the first three or four minutes of the second quarter so I can stay in till the end of the second.

I sit down on the bench and take a moment to myself as the game starts again. I haven't gotten a mission from the system yet. I'm hoping it doesn't pull one out of anywhere like the last game. The system can and will assign me anything it wants.

I also know for a fact it's a conscious being. One that thinks and plans. Knows things before they have. The one time when we talked, I gained little insight into what it is. I know it's connected to God, but how so?

Questions I'll never get answers to. I know my focus should be on the game, but it's not right now. Besides, for every basket one side scores, the other responds in turn. These are precious minutes the Bucks are wasting while they dawdle around.

"What's on your mind, man? I'd rather have you thinking about the game."

Jericho is on the bench with me. But instead of saying anything, I just point to the scoreboard. He gets the message. Rather than watch the game, my eyes are resting on the score. Even if the Knicks are playing poorly, they're still scoring.

But I do want to check on my stats. To see if anything has changed.

From what I can see, nothing is out of the ordinary or changed.

There are times I check it randomly or suddenly to make sure it's still there. I don't know if it'll go away one day. When God sent me back to this life and gave me the system to help, he didn't say how long I'd have it.

It'd be foolish to assume I'll have it forever. And while that would be nice. I don't want to get caught with my pants down.

If I'll do anything about this remains to be seen, but I do want to investigate it more.

Since we live in New York, we're two hours ahead of Milwaukee. I worry about my boy. Jet lag can be a reach doozy. Ulysses is on the bench right now, and I can't help wondering if he's really thinking about the game.

The few times the camera was on him, he looked to be staring off into space.

"That's another 3-pointer for the Bucks! The score is now tied at 39 to 39! Only 28 seconds left in this exciting first quarter!"

The announcers seem to be having fun.

I wish I were there...

But this is something I have to get used to, and as much as I want to be at every single game. I can't. Hannah has been having an especially hard time without Ulysses.

She's been down in the dumps, so to speak. Channeling her frustration into her gymnastics has proven to have good results, but I think he wants to see Ulysses more than perform well in practice at the moment.
