Chapter One: The Traveler and the Duo of Idiots

Konoha Ninja School.

"Kenji, good morning."

With a gentle tone, Kenji exchanged greetings with the students around him. Inside, he felt a bit annoyed. The treatment he was receiving was somewhat akin to the poker-faced Sani's, yet he managed to gain unexpected popularity among the girls in the school, all while sporting this princely facade.

Kenji couldn't help but curse his luck with drawing lots. Seriously, his luck was off the charts. As Kenji gazed at the gates of Konoha Ninja School, he couldn't help but feel a surge of emotions. He had spent a decade in this world – entered the ninja school at the age of seven, and now the time had come to graduate and head onto the battlefield.

Kenji Nakamura – that was the name he inherited from his parents in this world.

As for why Kenji chose to join the ninja school and become a ninja – it was because being alone was too boring.

He was an otherworldly person, in a sense, an alien and a time traveler, and also a superhuman. Yet, he found it all profoundly unexciting. Ironically, he was probably meant to be in a place like "The SOS Brigade" to make the world livelier, not the world of Naruto.

"Hey, Kenji, daydreaming? How confident are you about the graduation exam?"

Just as Kenji was lost in thought, someone patted him on the shoulder from behind.

Might Guy – one of the perennial bottom-rankers, a future master of physical techniques, currently a junior master.

These two had been at the bottom of the class for a long time – one second to last and the other last. Kenji's grades certainly didn't concern them.

"It's not your turn to worry about us. Instead of worrying about me, you two should be worrying about yourselves," he continued mercilessly.

In Kenji's class at the ninja school, there were eight classes with thirty students each. He remembered quite a few people – like Ebisu, Genma Shiranui, Anko Mitarashi, Kurenai Yūhi, Asuma Sarutobi, Rin Nohara, Might Guy, Obito Uchiha, and the early graduate, Kakashi Hatake.

Of course, these people weren't all in the same class, so he was only truly familiar with Might Guy, Obito Uchiha, and Rin Nohara. This was mainly because Might Guy and Obito Uchiha were always friendly and outgoing, and Obito always dragged the two of them over to Rin Nohara. Otherwise, Kenji's presence among the male students at the school was almost on par with that of a grand teacher – it was impossible for him to have friends.

"We'll definitely graduate smoothly as long as the graduation exam doesn't include ninjutsu and genjutsu," Might Guy's confidence was quite bewildering. Was he suggesting that the graduation exam would be limited to taijutsu only?

"Kenji's such a pain, especially his hair. It always reminds me of someone who thinks too highly of themselves," Obito Uchiha's worry about Kenji remained unappreciated.

Is he talking about himself thinking too highly of himself? "I never asked for this white hair. Is this the will of the gods or what? Did the gods say, 'Let there be light,' and then there was light? Did the gods say, 'Let's have less white hair,' and so now I have less white hair? I can't just spit on the face of the deity of transmigration for this, right?
