Chapter 27: The calm and the curious(Take 2)

(Dinner)(Zeke P.O.V)

In the Kitchen on the second floor inside the Poke-Shop, Zeke and Siesta could be seen facing each other on the table.

Zeke full of smiles as he watched Siesta gorging down her dinner.

"I guess this means that you enjoyed it?" Asked Zeke before pushing a box of tissue towards Siesta. Pointing at the stain near her mouth and voiced "You have something on your face"

Hearing this, Siesta realized what she just did and hurriedly took some tissues from the box before wiping her face clean.

"Cough.... You're cooking is pretty good If I say so myself, what is this again? Adobo?" 

"Yeap! its a dish from the Philippines, its super savory and while it might be somewhat salty, the rice really helps it.

The two compliments one another dont you agree?"  

Zeke replies before scooping up some of the Adobo stew before pouring it on top of the glistening white rice before he subsequently scooped the rice and put it inside his mouth.

'mmnnnn! Adobo is really the best! the taste of spices, soy sauce, and vinegar on the rice, and on top of it all-'

Zeke then proceeded to pick up the chicken thighs, holding it in its bone before he bit into it.

'Aahnn~ The meat that just slides off, so tender and juicy, and once again adding it on top of the rice, with some of the stew..Ahhh~'

Savoring the flavor's of the dish, Zeke did not take notice of Siesta staring at him as he made a plethora of pleasurable expressions.

Opening his eyes, Zeke noticed Siesta's gaze so he asked her what's the matter.

Siesta smiled at his question and replied with "Its nothing" before she got back eating knowing something new about this new partner of hers.

Meanwhile on the quintuplets side-

A comical scene could be seen as Ichika and Yotsuba tried their best to stop their sister Itsuki from reaching out to the Tupperware containing the curry.

"Stoop! that one is for tommorow!"

exclaimed Yotsuba, as she hugging Itsuki from the back, preventing her from moving while Ichika with the Tupperware on hand walked unhurriedly towards the fridge.

"B-but! the stew we just ate was so good! so the curry must be good as well!" Voiced Itsuki as she struggled to free from Yotsuba's grasp.

"Even so! You we're the one who said that curry will taste better after resting inside the fridge overnight!" Yotsuba replies before  tugging Ichika back.

"She's right you know Itsuki, you were the one who insisted to not eat the curry tonight before we started eating...so you need to stay true to your words" Miku interjected before she stood up and fetched five glasses after seeing ichika bringing out a bottle of Cola from the fridge.

"You're right....I guess I'll wait for tommorow" Itsuki sighed, as she gave up and stopped her struggle before she sat back at her chair

seeing this, Yotsuba sighed in relief before following her, and sat down beside her.

"Speaking of which, Our neighbor is really a good cook isn't he?" Ichika voiced before tilting her head towards her unusually quiet sister.

"Nino, why are you so quiet tonight? Did you enjoy the food?" 

"Huh?"

Her voice woke up the daydreaming Nino, as she dazedly asked.

Seeing this, Ichika sighed and turned her head towards Itsuki with a questioning face.

Noticing this, Itsuki stopped for a few seconds to think.

"Oh! I remember Nino saying she met a boy just outside, and she was in a daze back then too!"

"Hoo? Well, the neighbor who gifted us these dishes is a boy, so why dont you describe his appearance for us nino?

you never know he might be the guy you met before, and if he isnt, then its quite easy to know too since theres only 2 apartments in this floor" Adviced Ichika before taking a sip from the Cola she has in hand.

For Nino, although it was merely a glimpse, a chance encounter if one might say, it was enough for her to capture the image of that person and glue it inside her her mind.

so, hearing her sister's question, Nino unhesitatingly describe the image of the boy she met.

As she uttered each and every detail of Zeke's appearance passionately, she did not notice that her sister's varying reactions.

The eldest, her face morphed into a mischievous smile each word, Miku and Itsuki looked surprised in their own way, as they realized that they had met the same guy as their sister.

Meanwhile, Yotsuba on the other hand made a rather awkward expression as she realized from her sister's looks that they all met the same guy one way or another.

Still, she'll rather decide to keep quiet about it and just observe her sister to find out what happens moving onward.

Of course, that doesn't mean that she will just let it be if the boy causes them to fall apart.

The rest of the sisters decided to keep quiet as well, with each different reasons than the other.

Meanwhile the boy in question is currently surrounded by Ditto, Siesta, and the rest of the Pokemon as he called them to demonstrate his first henshin using the [Transteam Gun] that he got as a reward.

Before starting, Zeke first appraised the full bottle once more as he think it changed somehow when he used it back inside the trials.

'Turns out Im right...Phoenix huh..I Wonder if I will look like build when he transforms into Robo-Phoenix but only phoenix...I guess we'll find out now!'

Zeke took a deep breath before he started to shake the full bottle.

*Kacha* *Kacha* *Kacha*...

He then twisted the shielding cap to face forward before inserting it into the transteam gun.

"Jouketsu" Zeke muttered before he pulled the trigger which released a thick smoke that covered him all around.

The thick smoke cleared, revealing Zeke fully transformed, his base suit is pale blue colour, representing the blazing flames.

A metal plate adorned at the chest with exhaust-pipe looking appendages that reached till his back, and an orange silhouette of a phoenix is embedded at the middle of his chest.

The helmet, pale blue in color while the orange visor is shaped like the wings of a phoenix.

Ang lastly, a horn atop in the center of his forehead.

"What do you all think?" Zeke voiced as he checked out his new form, mainly his hands and body.

Shifting his body side to side, before touching the miniature exhaust-pipes on his shoulders.

As for the onlookers, Siesta pointed out that ot looks somewhat flashy, while the children is just amazed at Zeke's new look, just circling around him in awe and wonder.

"Guess that means it's alright except for the somewhat flashy color" Zeke smiled before squatting down to pet the pokemon with a smile, much to their delight.

"Alright guys, the demo is over, lets now go to bed" Voiced Zeke as he removed the FullBottle from the T.S.G which undid his transformation before twisting the bottle lid back.

It has been 30 or so minutes that Zeke has transformed, ans he has spent that time to familiarize himself with his abilities, and he can proudly say that its not bad, probably even better due to one of the ability that he got when in that form, which is regeneration .

Both for stamina and wounds, so theoretically he can last in battle as long as he want.

still, he probably wont have any opportunity to usd the T.S.G that much, as the world he is in, is rather peaceful..or is it?

A new day, comes with new opportunities, well, that's what people say, and it seems that it's not wrong for some of the lucky people living in the planet Zeke reside on, as they all have a chance of getting picked to have a new pokemon partner!

After restocking the consumables in the pokemon store, and buying the same amount of eggs as yesterday,The shop is once again ready to open!

and today, Zeke has a different pokemon accompanying him, Yamper! The pokemon that's always full of energy! Excitedly ran around the shop with anticipation

Zeke who's sitting on the couch just smiled at its antics before he opened the shop for today. 

And as for Siesta, after experiencing what happened the day before, did not look forward to encountering another case so she asked to sit this one out. 

And so, with Yamper's company Zeke awaited his customers for the day. 

And not long after, the bell of the store rang. 

"Welcome!"

((A few minutes before))

*State of Washington, America*

A young man on the verge of adulthood is currently walking along the sidewalk, his goal clear in his mind as he strode along the bustling city. 

And the goal? A pet! After months of saving money, he finally felt that he had sufficient funds to buy one, and so today he set out to find one. 

Although unsure if he's gonna take home either a cat or a dog, he has left it to fate to decide. 

And as he walked towards the shop that he previously had in mind, he noticed a peculiar building at the other side of the road. 

"Pokemon Pet shop? Quite a weird name for one to have, but it's quite intriguing if I say so myself" mused the young man who looked as calm as a lake. 

Suddenly, the young man in question sported a playful smile before muttering

"Well~ It doesn't hurt anyone to know, so let's see what the shop sells shall we?" 

Despite his usually calm demeanor, this young man has a bit of a playful side in him, which earned him love and hate alike in his school. 

As despite having only an above average look, he's quite popular in his class due to his peculiar personality—where he switches from a calm and relax guy into a playful and cheery person. 

A switch if one might say, but everyone likes and hate him for it, as he's both reliable when it counts and super mischievous some other time, teasing both guys and gal's. 

As the boy entered the shop, he looked around and discovered that he's currently in a bright hallway and a door could be seen not far away. 

But that's not what caught his attention the most, the thing that caught his attention is a young man curiously examining the paintings hanged on the wall, in fact there are multiple of these paintings hanged and the young man is currently examining the fourth one. 

He walked towards the fellow who looked about the same age as he is–before turning his head at the painting that he's staring at and he was awed. 

If someone asked what he thought of it, he would answer that it's beautiful and strange, a painting depicting three Behemoths A beast with red scales, covered with magma standing on a land oozing on lava, a gigantic whale gazing on the red beast underneath a see oh unknown depth. 

And a green serpentine creature upon the sky, overseeing the two equally large creatures menacingly. 

The three creatures sported symbols representing Alpha, Omega, And Delta located in different parts of their body. 

The young man could not help but gasp in amazement. "This is magnificent!"

His voice woke the other teen in his daydream, and when he saw the young man's gaze of wonder at the painting, he smiled. "I agree, it's quite a wonder"

"It's nice to meet you, my name is Alex" The young teen introduced himself as he handed out his right hand for a shake. 

The young man reached out, shaking his hand and replied "Jason, It's nice meeting you as well"

"Are you here to buy a pet as well? "Alex asked curiously. 

Hearing his question, Jason calmly replied. 

"Yeah, Just saved up enough money to hopefully get one"

"Haha! me too! I've been saving up my allowance this month after I finally persuaded my parents to own a pet! What animal are you looking for? I myself would like to own a reptile, since I'm sadly allergic to cats"Alex replied full with enthusiasm. 

Hearing this, Jason's face morphed into a teasing one and asked "Oh~? aren't reptiles quite hard to care for Mr.Lizzy? And as for your question, I'm leaving it all to fate"

"Mr. Lizzy?"Alex asked, confused about the name. 

Seeing his oblivious face, Jason couldn't help but chuckle. 

"It's nothing, let's go to buy our new pets now, shall we?"Jason calmly voiced before he walked towards the door, passing on the glass window without bothering to check on it. 

"Eh?... Ah! Wait for me!"Alex hurriedly followed along with him. 

"So, What are you doing in this part of New Mexico? I haven't seen your face around"Asked Alex, curious. 

His question made Jason confused, this time as he opened the door. 

"Wha—?" Although before he could ask Alex for clarification both of them heard a voice, welcoming them.

. 

"Welcome! How may this humble shop of mine help you?" Zeke greeted formally. 

His greetings were answered by none other than the teen full of enthusiasm. 

"We would like to buy a pet please! I would prefer if it's a reptile!" Announced Alex who is full of giddiness. 

Suddenly, Jason's voice full of Intrigue was heard by the two, as he asked politely;

"Pardon me for being curious but, I haven't seen any aquarium, nor a single cage here. Did you perhaps placed them somewhere else?"

Zeke smiled when he heard his question. 

"You're quite observant"He complimented

"Now where do I start… ah! Yamper! Come here boy!"Zeke called out before he looked back at his two customers and said. 

"For now, let's start it with an introduction.. Ah! perfect timing" Zeke said, as he saw Yamper getting out of the Poke-Mart. 

Yamper strode towards Zeke, while swinging its adorable backside. 

Once Yamper got near, Zeke picked him up before he looked back towards his customers once more. 

"Meet Yamper! Now, what are your first impressions of him?" Zeke asked, as he scratched Yamper's neck, much to its delight. 

""A very unique dog?/A yellow corgi with a lightning shaped tail? "" Both Alex and Jason replied at the same time. 

"Haha! You two might think of Yamper here as just a strange type of corgi breed, but he's much more than that!" Voiced Alex before he put Yamper off the ground. 

He then looked back at the two and said. 

"watch" before he looked back towards Yamper who looked at him innocently and commanded. 

"Yamper! Use spark!"

And what the two saw next, made both of them flabbergasted as the supposedly corgi just shot out an electrical discharge which did nothing to the ground, but it still greatly surprised the two as they know that dogs aren't supposed to do that. 

""Holy Mother of Jesus! /What the fuck?!?"" Both of them exclaimed at the same time, their eyes wide from what they just witnessed. 

The two looked at both the proud looking Yamper and the smiling Zeke, alternating between the two as they wondered what kind of shop they just entered. 

Noticing this, Zeke smiled before he crouched down, patting and complimenting Yamper, before he stood up once more and Voiced. "Okay, let us continue"

Halloo! Is a me!

I decided to post this chapter because I might not be focusing on writing chapters for a while...

I'm not trying to be lazy I promise!

I just wanted to do some planning on both my fanfics... Make a story board and such.

After all, I have been writing what just comes to mind with no plans whatsoever, so I'm trying to fix that before it's too late!

But! I'm pretty sure once I am done making some plans for this fic firstly, then I might write chapters much much faster!

And more coherent lol.
