Slave traders

Ashur slowly made his way over to the group, carrying his 'Justice stick', he slowly approached them.

Ashur would have surprise attacked them if the terrain was suitable, but the surrounding terrain was quite open here they were, and only a few trees were next to them.

Since it was not a very good place to surprise attack them, he opted to just fight head-on.

As he approached, the slave traders quickly took notice of him, and as they looked at him, a few of them laughed.

These slave traders headed into Alf's Royal Forest secretly in hope to see if they could maybe secretly catch some weak High Elf's or some children and quickly get out of there.

This was a very high-risk task to do, as they were afraid of attracting the attention of the High Elf's and being hunted. All they wanted was to quickly nab some weak High Elf's and quickly get out of there.

And it seemed that their hard work paid off as they were lucky enough to stumble upon a High Elf child just when they were about to give up.

Looking around, it seemed that she was just wondering about the forest alone just looking around, and they thought that she would be the perfect target, so they quickly decided to grab her.

They could probably make quite the buck if they sold this child to some nobles with unique tastes, and then they would receive a large amount of money. Enough that they could probably live out the rest of their days trouble-free.

They quickly approached her with their superior speed, and before she could notice, one of them reached out and grabbed hold of her arm before she could even react.

The girl soon noticed that she was suddenly grabbed by the arm, and turned around to see that her arm had been gabbed by a strange man who had a disgusting expression on his face, and she also noticed that there were several others behind him!

Although she didn't know what they wanted to do with her, she knew it wasn't good and she immediately started struggling to break free from the man's grasp.

The slave traders did not try to did not want to hurt her too much, as that would affect the price, so they were going to just restrain her as she was just a child, and forcefully put some shackles on her, then put her in the cage on the back of the carriage.

But as they were about to restain her, they suddenly noticed that another elven child appeared from the forest with a metal pole and slowly approaching them with anger on his face.

Seeing him approach them, the slave traders naturally thought that this elven child was a friend or family of the one they just caught and that they probably had been playing together before they appeared.

He probably saw them grabbing the one that they currently held, and instead of calling for help, it made the other child angry and try to fight.

This was not the first time this happened to them, as it happened when they caught a young village girl. as they were about to load her into the cage, a young child appeared with a thick wooden stick saying that he would rescue her, and what ended up happening was that child was beaten to a pulp before being captured like the village girl he meant to save and became a slave just like her. What a touching tale!

The slave traders were naturally delighted to get another child to sell as if they catch him, they can spend the rest of their lives a bit lavishly and not worry for a long time.

The slave traders naturally thought that this child was no threat just like the child from before, and even he was, they naturally had some insurance if they wanted to come into Alf's Royal Forest and grab some High Elf's.

Every single one of the slave traders was blessed by a god and all of them were equivalent to experienced low-class adventurers.

Compared to the elf's in Alf's Royal Forrest who are not blessed, because of the current elf king, Larfal Ljos Alf, hate for the gods, they were comparatively much stronger, with their blessing than those that do not have a gods blessing.

As Ashur approached the slave traders, they were naturally not guarded at all and that was what Ashur wanted to happen.

"Hey kid, it's better to just give up, we don't want to hurt you," said one of them as he pulled out his sword intending to scare the kid into giving up.

Ashur acted as if he was frightened a bit by the sight of his sword and unconsciously lowered his pole, but he did not completely let go of it as he looked at them.

"That's it, just give up, there's no use in fighting," said one of them with a smile as he slowly approached Ashur with his sword in his right hand.

After he got close enough to Ashur, he lowered himself and intended to use his left hand to grab his pole from his hand.

But suddenly! In one swift moment, Ashur swiftly raised his 'Justice stick' before using it to hit the slave trader's right hand that was holding his sword, before managing to knock it out of his hand.

Ashur quickly grabbed the sword out of the air in one swift movement, and before anyone could react, he used it to plunge right into the trader's throat.

Blood sprayed everywhere, with some of it splashing on Ashur, giving him a demonic look as the other slave traders saw how easily he killed their friend.

"Tom!" screamed one of them as he looked in horror at his friend's now dead body on the ground, and they immediately pulled out their swords and pointed them at Ashur.

Ashur looked like a demon to them as he slowly made his way over towards them, soaked in their friend's blood.

Suddenly! He lunged at one of them!

Wielding a sword in one hand while a pole in the other, he lunged at the slave trader as he simultaneously attacked with both his sword and pole.

But the slave traders were now ready for his attack, and the slave trader that Ashur just lunged at, used his superior strength to block the attack with the pole before then turning and using his sword to block the sword coming at his neck.

'That was close' he thought.

The slave trader thought that he nearly lost his head from Ashur's sneaky attack and sweated think that he might be dead right now if he didn't block that strike that was coming at his neck.

But, he also noticed that this boy is very slow and very fatigued, but he can still attack with precision, and tricks of which, nearly got him killed.

But in that brief clash, he also noticed that this boy is much much more skilled with a sword than anyone he knows.

Quickly, the other slave traders approached to help their ally. But as Ashur was fighting the slave trader in front of him, he suddenly turned and lunged at one of the traders that was coming to help, catching both of them unexpectedly, as the one that was currently fighting Ashur, suddenly lost his target, and the other did not expect Ashur to suddenly change target's mid-fight.

The trader that Ashur was currently lunging at, blocked Ashur's sword with his sword, but Ashur's real attack was with his pole as he used it to hit the trader's knee, which bent to a disgusting degree as they collided. The trader howled in pain as his leg bent, before quickly falling to the ground.

As Ashur was about to finish the trader on the ground, all of them heard a loud "STOP!"

They all stopped and turned to look at one of the traders holding a sword to the elven child's neck.

"I take it you're here to save this child? I suggest you put down your weapons and raise your hands in the air," said the trader as a disgusting smile spread on his face.

Ashur looked at the terrified child that was held by the slave trader, before looking at the blade to her neck.

He sighed before slowly dropping his weapons like the trader said, before then raising his hands in the air.

"Kick your weapons away," said the trader as he held his sword closer to her neck.

Ashur complied and used his feet to kick away the sword and his pole, while he still kept his hands in the air.

After he kicked away his weapons, one of the traders went over to the carriage before he slowly returned with heavy wrist and ankle shackles.

And as he was about approach Ashur, he was suddenly stopped by one of his friends, which said "Use the magic ones, you can't tell if this child knows magic too."

The trader complied as he knew how fearsome that child could be, and went back into the carriage before returning with a new pair of shackles.

These shackles were made so that the person using them, was unable to cast magic.

Four traders slowly approached Ashur cautiously, with their blades pointed at him, while one of them held the shackles.

The one with the shackles slowly approached Ashur from behind, before he brought up a pair of wrist shackles from behind him before put them on his wrists before locking them.

After they put on the pair of shackles, they were noticeably less tense, but still held up their guard as they did not want to end up like their dead friend on the ground.

After the trader finished putting on the wrist shackles, slowly made his way down and grabbed the ankle shackles, and brought them to his ankles.

"Bring your legs closer," said one of them, as they saw Ashur's legs too far apart to put them on.

Ashur complied and brought his legs closer before the trader with the shackles slowly put a pair of shackles around his ankles, before locking them.
