Chapter 29 - Jonh Penn

Chitose and Shizuka, who finally realized that they hadn't checked Index's mouth, then opened Index's mouth to confirm whether what they thought was true or not.

"Finally found it!" Chitose and Shizuka said at the same time.

Shizuka without further ado then helped Chitose to drag Index's body. Because she wanted to quickly solve the problem that Index brought to Yuragi Sou.

When Index's body was placed in a pure white room with a fairly large size, by Chitose and Shizuka.

Shizuka and Chitose quickly walked towards the exit of the recovery and training room. And stood right in front of the exit so that the two of them could escape at once in case anything would put them both in danger.

Seeing that Chitose and Shizuka were already near the exit, Touma felt even more relieved. And he started walking towards Index so he could get rid of the runes in her throat.

Touma opened Index's mouth and slowly put his right palm into Index's mouth. Touma could feel Index's spit dripping down the back of his palm. And of course Touma felt somewhat disgusted by it, but he tried his best to contain the disgust he felt until his five fingers touched the back of Index's throat.

And since Touma already knew exactly where the rune was, he had absolutely no trouble figuring out where the rune was.

The moment Touma's finger touched the rune, he could feel a slight electric current in his five right fingers as well as something breaking. Which indicated that he had succeeded in destroying the rune.

When Touma had taken his palm out of Index's mouth. A change occurred to Index, her eyes opened and a blood red magic circle appeared to float above her eyeballs.

And when he saw that Touma immediately realized, that Jonh Penn's program protecting Index had started to work. And Touma had to fight the program so that Index memories wouldn't have to be erased again.
