Athena Chapter 11.

As I was changing Midnight handed me a collar, it was different to the one that I had worn when I was in the league. It was a reddish brown colour and had a lock on it but this time it had 2 key holes. I paused and looked at her.

"This is a special collar that has been made just for you" she said with a smile on her face, "It has 2 keyholes that must be turned together for it to be removed; it also has a scent blocker built into it so you don't attract unwanted attention". I just smile and took the collar off her.

"Will this stay on when I transform, as I always end up naked afterwards" I asked her. "It has been made with some of your hair. Sorry we didn't ask permission for that but it will also change and come back with your transformations, give it a go" she said as she placed the collar around my neck and clicked its lock.

I transformed to my cat form and moved my paw to my neck, she was right I was still wearing the collar and it had shrunk to my cat sized neck, I quickly changed back into my human form and was still wearing it, to say I was a bit shocked was a surprise and she could see that on my face. "Could this be done with my clothing also" I asked to which Midnight just nodded and said " If you pass this then I can take you to an excellent student in the support course who can do that and more for you, but right now we need to head to the test site for your entrance exam". With that I quickly changed and followed Midnight out of the changing rooms and onto the test site.

As we walked to the test site Midnight explained the exam to me. I had to complete three sections to pass and we were doing the first two now.

1. Capture a villain by placing these handcuff on them, any means necessary but not to kill them.

2. Rescue three people trapped in various locations and in various distress

3. A written exam to test your academic skills.

She continued to say that they normal do it a bit differently and have our previous school give references and instead of capture and rescue the students would have to battle robots and get the most points.

We arrived at the entrance to the test site and large door, she handed me the cuffs and a special pouch that had also been made out of my hair to store them in, and she said that I had 30 minutes to complete both tasks. 30 minutes, that is not long at all, my head swimming with thoughts as the door opened.

The test site was huge and was a replica of a local city, there were buildings as tall as 5 stories and small shops, alleyways and even some residential buildings. The doors closed behind me and a big screen was lowered down, on it was the principal who wished me luck and once again mentioned my exams objectives, he also mentioned that they had left clothes at various locations around the site so that I was not fighting naked as this was being shown to all of class 1A. The thought of being watched by some many unknown people didn't faze me but he thought of Deku watching me made me blush and become hot. An alarm sounded signalling the beginning of my exam.

I transformed into my cat form as I am faster at running. After passing several alleyways and too many building to count I found my first person to rescue, they were trapped under some burning rubble from what appears to of been a house fire, next door was a spare tracksuit sign, I transformed into my human form and quickly dressed before rushing out to the man who was trapped, I reassured him that everything was going to be OK and explained quickly that I would put out the fire using water and to shield his face. I shoot water at the base of the flames and moved them back as they began to die out, soon they were all out and I was now able to reach the man, I pushed up the rubble lying on top of him with his help after finding out that he had no injuries. He was free and gave me a coin to carry. It had taken me just over 8 minutes to find and rescue the first person and I still had to capture and rescue two more people.

I placed the coin into the pouch with the cuffs and shifted into my cat form before running off down a side street and to the main road before I heard a crackle and cold air rush past me, I turned just in time to miss being frozen by the large pillar of ice that was next to me and in that moment my heart sank. I didn't have to look to see who it was, it was Shoto and he was aiming to hurt me badly. I looked around as I was dodging the ice that was being shot towards me and saw the tracksuit sign, I rushed towards it but was cut off by another pillar of ice, the whole building was covered in it and there was no way in. I dodged and dodged his ice was but this was eating up my time, I had to act and act fast. I had to shift to be able to fight him but at the risk of being exposed, I had no choice and charge towards him as I transformed into my human form and shot fire at him, he responded by shooting another ice pillar at me which I melted with my flames and skidded past him, he then rushed towards me and punched me in the stomach at his full strength, I coughed as he hit me and was thrown down the road. I landed on my side, which was now all cut and bleeding from the impact of the ground and the concrete.

I transformed into a cat and back to human to stop the bleeding and heal the wounds that had now scared over and a bruise was on my stomach. I could hear him laughing as he rushed towards me again but this time I was ready for him, I had the cuffs in my right hand and shot water at him from my left, he turned the water to ice but this also affected the water on his body and his movements slowed, he let out a breath that was showed how cold he was, I sprung to my feet and charged at him, grabbing his hand before he could react and move, I had managed to get his left hand and only needed his right which he punched me in the face with, I grabbed it as I kicked him in the chest before placing the other cuff on him.

Shoto was not happy at the humiliation of me capturing him and threw insults at me before releasing his Alpha pheromone. His pheromone hit me and I was surrounded in his vanilla scent, I could feel the heat starting to build inside of me and the urge to go to him and do what he wanted, that is when the collar kicked in and sprayed me with scent blockers. I regained my senses just in time as I was standing in front of him who was now smirking.

I transformed and started off once again in search of the two other people that needed to be rescued. I left him there but not before I had place large ivy over him to keep him in place. I found the other two quickly and rescued them both, one was injured from falling down a man hole and the other was trapped inside a car that had overturned and was unconscious. I heard an alarm and knew that signalled the end of the exam. I headed back to the door with the people that had taken part in the exam and was chatting with them, well all apart from Shoto who was still cuffed. When we got to the door I was greeted by Midnight, Principal Nezu, Deku and Recovery Girl.

Principal Nezu walked over to me with Midnight and congratulated me on passing the physical exam and that I had a few hours to recover if I wanted before taking the written test. I agreed to the break as I was hungry and wanted to take a shower, I was covered in dust, soot and blood. Deku approached me, "Congratulations on passing. I... I am sorry about the way Shoto acted" he said whilst looking down at his hands which he was playing with. I reached out to touch his hands but stopped as Shoto walked over to us. I just thanked him and walked over to Midnight who escorted me back to my room.

After some food, a quick nap and a shower I was ready for the written test, this was being held in the principal's office as all the classrooms were busy. I had 2 hours to answer 50 questions varying from maths, English, science, law, literature and first aid. I felt as though I was melting by the time 2 hours was over and had somehow managed to answer every question. I was sure that the ones on the law were incorrect as I really hadn't had the time to read the law in this world. I hoped that I had passed as I wanted to be able to spend more time with Deku and learn more about him and this world. I wouldn't know the results until tomorrow and was taken back to my room, where I changed and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
