Chapter 35: It's Party Time

Nancy’s POV

Looking over the table, I check that I have enough snacks and drinks for the thousandth time.

Tonight is our housewarming party, and I want it to be perfect. Since this is the first party I’d ever put together, I wasn’t sure how to decorate. So, I just cleaned the house and made sure we got a variety of snacks and drinks.

It’s 6 PM - people should be showing up by now. I resist texting the girls and Carter to ensure they’re still coming by checking my outfit again; a mid-length black sundress with blue and green polka dots and black flats. Perfect party attire.

The doorbell rings, and I run to open it. I’m greeted by Jessie, Sara, and Mollie’s faces. They all look amazing!

Jessie is dressed in her black leather pants, a black off-the-shoulder sweater, and her favorite black booties. Mollie’s wearing a red off-the-shoulder dress that reaches her knees and white strappy sandals. And Sara’s wearing a blue jean skirt, a white flowery crop top, and white tennis shoes.
