Pre-Hallo

It was night again, the party was getting into full effect with guests arriving in groups or alone, the theme was a halloween theme since it's already October and halloween fun always started from the beginning of the month…

This time Josh didn't dress like a hobo, he wore normal clothes and made sure to stay away from alcohol, he looked at his wrist watch and the time was just 7:50.

The dj just arrived and he got some of the freshmen in the house to help the dj setup, he kept himself busy and avoided the hallway where the chandelier was…..

"Hey Josh take a break, let the fresh men handle everything, relax" Blake mentioned as he dragged Josh into the courtyard.

"I want you to meet someone, she also brought a friend, the girl is hot,'' Blake said with excitement.

"Plus tonight I need you to forget about Jasmine and please don't scare the girl off like you always do with other girls since what happened to you know who."

"Fine, but if she annoys me then it's over," Josh replied back, his voice was laced with a bit of coldness in them when he got reminded of his ex…..

Jasmine wasn't really his ex but his girlfriend that died a month ago in an accident back in her dormitory, they found her dead body in her room, after a series of test it was stated that she committed suicide since after the autopsy there was no sign of struggle or finger prints on her body, since then he wasn't himself anymore and he drank a lot to deal with the pain he felt…..

"Can you see the fairies standing by the drink table," Blake asked, trying not to point at the girls to make it known that they were looking at them.

"Yeah, I see them."

"What do you think, are they hot or what?"

"They look okay, more like plastic to me," Josh murmured to himself, shrugging with indifference.

"Common dude, you promised to behave," Blake said with a hint of annoyance, he didn't know what to do with Josh at this point.

"Ok, you know what we'll just go over and say hi to them, if you still don't feel like it then you're free to go anywhere you want, so deal or no deal?" Blake asked, offering a handshake as the deal breaker.

Josh looked at his hand for some time, before he shook it, "deal," he said quietly, the corner of his lips tugging up into a smirk as they also patted each other's back.

Josh knew that Blake was trying his best to help him and he appreciated his efforts, that's why he decided to listen to him just this once and talk to the girls...
