Late in the night inside a room with a small lamp being the only light source a man sat in a lotus pose, the man was meditating after a while he opened his eyes "Someone has made a contract with him, who would be foolish enough to do that, don't the person know who he is" the man said out loud as he went into thinking after few seconds it clicked in his head "Maybe they don't know who he is, after all, he is the trickster devil" he concluded.

The man got up and left the room, he could see people running away somewhere practicing with different weapons, he walked past the large courtyard and moved farther into the hallway.

The man stopped in front of an office that had the words -Investigator- written on the door, he knocked and waited till he was told to come in.

"Mr. Anderson, what brings you here at this time of the day," a young age fellow asked, he was surprised to see the man named Anderson in his office at this late hour of the day.

"Mr. Tobi, you know I only leave my office when I need something done, and am afraid I would need your assistance in this matter" Anderson explained everything to Tobi, telling him someone had made a contract with a devil and a dangerous one at that.

"Mr. Anderson, am sorry to say this, but people make a contract with devils all the time and we can't just go around arresting everybody that does, so until the devil kills or endangers people's lives, we can't do anything about it " Tobi replied, people make a contract with devils almost every day for different reasons, so he can't waste manpower to look for a devil that had not course any danger to human life.

"Mr. Tobi, I think you don't understand what am saying, it's not just your regular devil, the devil am talking about is Esu the trickster devil, he killed millions of people in early 1600, he was so strong that he was given the name King of Devils and someone just made a contract with it" Anderson made sure he emphasizes on how dangerous Esu was

"Now that sounds dangerous, lately devils have been spawning out of control, Mr. Anderson you don't have to worry, I will send Agent O to investigate the matter" Mr. Anderson nodded as he stood up from his chair and left the office.

'what is going on, I feel like something dangerous is going to happen soon, first, devils have been spawning out of control and demons have also started attacking Hunter, now Someone made a contract with Esu' Tobi relaxed on his chair as he dropped his head on the table "I need a vacation soon, I feel like I might run mad" he said to himself

Tobi brought out his phone and sent a message to Agent O "Now all I need to do is wait for either O to locate the devil or News about the devil" He sighed as he started arranging his desk.

Inside the Hospital, Tommy woke up feeling very tasty, his throat was dry and itchy, he tried moving his hand to press the call button beside his bed, and after much effort, he finally moved his hand, as he pressed the button a nurse rushed into his room.

"You are awake, just want a few seconds I will call the doctor," the nurse said as she tried to leave the room.

"Water... I need water" Tommy's voice was cracking as he said those words but the nurse understood as she walked out of the room and came back with a glass of water, she helped Tommy drink the water.

"Haaa... That was refreshing, was water always this good" Tommy could feel the water moving through his body, he felt as if he was a balloon being pumped with air.

The nurse went to call the doctor, and they both returned after a few minutes. " Mr. Önager, how are you feeling? are you feeling any pain?" The doctor asked as he checked Tommy's body.

"No doctor, I feel fine, I haven't had this feeling for a long time, say doctor how long was I out, I can't move most of my body " Tommy was feeling great, he could feel extra energy cursing through his vain, it was like he was having an adrenaline rush, he could feel his blood pumping.

"Hummmm..... Fascinating, are you sure you feel no pain from your body" the doctor asked again to which Tommy nodded.

"Nurse runs some tests on him and brings the results to my desk, in the next few minutes, I will contact his family" The nurse nodded and left the room.

"Doctor, you still haven't answered my question, how long was I out, my body can't feel this stiff if it was just a week" Tommy gathered his strength to sit up, and the doctor helped him.

"Mr. Önager, I would advise you not to try moving right now, so that you will not damage your body, you have been in a coma for 3 years" the doctor replied to Tommy.

'3 years, damn, that's a long time, so I spent 3 years with Esu, it felt like a few minutes, who would have thought 3 years had passed' Tommy remained silent as he thought about how many things he had missed, he was supposed to be a 2nd-year university student if not for his sickness.

'Am I going to be okay, wait I feel fine so that means Esu did what we agreed on, that means I really made a contract with a devil' Tommy's expression darkened when he remembered that he made a contract with a devil.

But he decided to leave that for later because there was one thing he needed to get rid of, and that was the hunger he was feeling "Doctor, is there anything to eat here in the hospital am hungry, I feel like I haven't eaten in years" he asked the doctor, the hunger was too much that he felt like he could eat a full cow.

"Ohh... That's a good sign that you are recovering, we don't have food here, but I will ask the nurses if they brought any food over, and then I will inform your family so that they can bring more food if you still want to eat" the doctor said with a smile when a sick person regain their appetite that usually means the person is on the way to full recovery.

The doctor left the room to ask if any nurse came with food, normally some nurses would bring food over if they were on the night shift, he came back with a small food container he gave the container to Tommy, He told Tommy that he would go and contact his family.

Tommy opened the container and a wonderful aroma entered his nose, he gulped, the aroma was so enticing that Tommy immediately started eating, the food inside the container was fried rice and a chicken breast, and within a few minutes, the entire food was gone.

Tommy was still hungry but had nothing to eat, he tried getting off the bed, he tried moving his legs, but he couldn't so he just switched on the TV inside his hospital room, trying to get up to date with what was happening in the world, he changed the channel to the news stations.

The news went through several topics, from the war going on between two countries to a mass shooting, Tommy absorbed the information " When did they start a war, jezz I have been out for a very long time, will I even recognize my family if I see them" Tommy thought.

Tommy had been awake for an hour, and his family still hadn't shown up, he was hungry and pressed, and he managed to move his leg and drag himself off the bed, he stumbled when his foot touched the floor but he used the bed to stabilize himself.

"My legs feel so stiff, when last did I stand on my feet, this is a miracle," Tommy said as he dragged his drip along heading towards the restroom. "I will ask a nurse where the restroom is," Tommy said heading out of the room.

He walked out of his room, into a strange hallway, it was quiet and dark, and it reminded him of his dreams, but in the next second it changed to the hospital hallway, Tommy saw a nurse standing before him "Hey, where are you going" the nurse asked Tommy, She had been asking him the same question for the third time.

Tommy snapped out of his daze, and regained his focus, "miss, please where's the restroom" Tommy Asked.

"Oh, the restroom is that way" She pointed the way to Tommy, and he thanked her, and as he dragged his drip along with him, he made a left turn into another hallway, it was already last night, so the hallway was empty and Tommy could see part of the lights flickering on and off.

"Why do I keep feeling someone is watching me" When he left his room, he had been feeling as if he was being watched, he could not shake the feeling. He continued moving, he came across a vending machine, the lights inside the vending machine were also going off and on.

"Something must be wrong with the hospital power system" Tommy was freaking out a little because he remembered some horror movies starting like this. Immediately he said those words, the whole light went off.
