THE GIVING OF TITHES TO THE LORD GOD

ONE-TENTH of all your harvests per year

> IF CROPS/ANIMALS: bring it to the designated place of worship and EAT it there in his presence.

> IF MONEY: buy food and bring it to the designated place of worship and FEAST there in the presence of the LORD your GOD, celebrate with your household.

You may read it in Deuteronomy 14.

What is the PURPOSE why should give TITHE to GOD? It's a THANK YOU to him. He is the one who gives us BLESSINGS like RAIN, SUN for everything to grow, and he guards our crops against PLAGUES. This is also for us, not for him, because he is powerful and he's ABUNDANT already...

The person who forgets to thank GOD or forgot to offer does not succeed. If you forget about him, he will also forget you - he will not HELP you improve your life, you will still suffer or get sick no matter how much money you get.

For me, I am working for the Lord.

I am giving him Tithe as well.

And he's telling me it's for our MISSION here on EARTH like our traveling expenses, food and so on.

I had joined a Christian Church, I am giving an offering too, any amount, voluntary, as long as it's from the heart, not by force. (Sometimes the ANGEL would say, "That's too much. It's the other way around.) But I am a human, and I'd just follow whatever is applicable and right.

Your offering or tithe to the Lord can be given directly as well to those who need it, but give thanks to the Lord first.

I wanted to calculate what Tithe would give to the Lord, but he said, "No! Don't compute it. Don't count it. You're giving more, too much..."

Deuteronomy 14:22-26 NLT

[22] "You must set aside a tithe of your crops—one-tenth of all the crops you harvest each year. [23] Bring this tithe to the designated place of worship—the place the Lord your God chooses for his name to be honored—and eat it there in his presence. This applies to your tithes of grain, new wine, olive oil, and the firstborn males of your flocks and herds. Doing this will teach you always to fear the Lord your God. [24] "Now when the Lord your God blesses you with a good harvest, the place of worship he chooses for his name to be honored might be too far for you to bring the tithe. [25] If so, you may sell the tithe portion of your crops and herds, put the money in a pouch, and go to the place the Lord your God has chosen. [26] When you arrive, you may use the money to buy any kind of food you want—cattle, sheep, goats, wine, or other alcoholic drink. Then feast there in the presence of the Lord your God and celebrate with your household. (END OF PASSAGE)
