Mike felt like his life was alternating between heaven and hell.
On one hand, everything was running smoothly. His dates with Lance and Adam had progressed nicely over the last three weeks. Sometimes it would be just them. At other times, they’d grab a meal with Megan, Nathan, and Holly. His daughter was also more cheerful lately, which was a bonus as far as he was concerned.
Thankfully, the meetings with the lawyer and contractor had gone off without a hitch. Adam and Lance had also suggested they add a back door to both the office building and the bookstore, which would allow them to travel back and forth between the nursery and the toy store while also giving additional customers access to the store. After all, some of the employees in the office building might want to purchase toys for their children.
