However, after the conversation about that was over, the two of them went silent once more.
They were not close to each other and naturally didn't know what they should talk with each other.
It was a bit awkward.
Zhou Xi An finally opened her mouth once more. "While it might not look like it, we're all in dangerous position right now. There's no telling what Old Man Long will do should he found out that we're all playing game with him."
Yu Yan was stunned. She was thinking of finding some light topics to talk with the other party but instead got pulled into this heavy one. Internally, Yu Yan wanted to cry but no tears came out.
"That's…"
"Sorry, I can't help but say this." Zhou Xi An passed a look at Yu Yan. She then looked at Long Ao Jiang. "Let's have a party in the future when everything is over, alright?"
"Sure." Yu Yan readily agreed while she held back the urge to cry.
