Chapter 1Prolog (Revised)

Roland feels dizzy when his life thread brings him back to his body after sleep for a while. He opened eyes and see a ceiling above him.

His body and head feel really comfortable. It looks like he sleeps in another bed. The bed seems wider than before.

He thinks he will wake up in the morning or less afternoon. But he looks out at the open window and caught it already evening.

he thought he would sleep for like one or two days, or maybe he sleeps for just like an hour or more.

"Ungg~"

He heard someone delirious, and what he found in his adopted red-haired daughter. Aleyn. She looks really tired in her sleep. It means true, that he just sleep for like an hour or more.

She sleeps while sitting on the floor and leaning on the bed. Roland gets up and sits down. He reaches out his right hand to pat her beloved adopted daughter. Patting her because she did a good job to protect the city.

At that time someone entered the room without knocking. It is a woman. Wear long brown robes. When entering the room she looks guilty.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't think you would wake up earlier"

"And who are you?"

The woman wearing a full-length robe on her body. Plus her skin somehow reminded Roland of a creature who drinks blood.

"I'm sorry for my impudence. Let me introduce myself. My name is Elizabetta,"

"First wife of The Impaler king. What do you want for me? Although first I thought you were gonna said you're a doctor or something"

Roland predicted who is the woman who had a walk in front of his bedroom. Although the woman doesn't dodge that fact. She is the first wives of The Impaler King, a nickname for a king who ruled the Ottoman Empire.

Which means Roland is facing a queen of another country.

The woman – Elizabetta smiled at Roland's question. Then lift up one finger and pointing at sleeping Aleyn.

"I would like to bring that girl, Mr. Paladin, or could I say, and ex-Paladin. Well, whatever, just give me that girl, you were not gonna use her don't you?"

Roland sharpens his brows at that statement. She talks just like she is going to do that and ignored Roland's anger. Feeling Roland is not a big deal for her.

"What did just you say?"

Roland starts to invent his arcana at the left and brings up his sword of amplification at the right hand. Even though looking at that bestial face and aura power, not to give influential to the queen.

She looks quite happy instead.

"Well, if you want it that way. I don't really mind. Because it's quite sometimes I don't see fresh blood."

The queen pointing her finger at Roland's chest, then she seemed to be pulling something. At that rapid moment, Roland's chest blows up and starts pouring blood everywhere.

That's really fast even Roland couldn't process what just happened.

Roland begin fell down to bed with blood start pouring too from his mouth.

"It's a pity you know. To kill a lifesaver like you."

The queen starts to walk beside Aleyn. And what Roland can do is just seeing her with his madness eye. He can't even talk because he feels her throat going to burn. His breath was being pulled out. For his chest, it was filled with blood and visible Roland ribs and internal organ that was difficult to move. Especially the heart that is maintaining its function.

"But, so you know, I was given a task to give him another wife. If I obey his command, I will surely get thrown from his home. It's all a pity you know."

The queen lifts up Aleyn into her shoulder. Talking to Roland with a guilty face but seems like it doesn't matter if it goes like that. Then walk into the open window.

Roland glared very wide. Even he breathed wildly when his lungs were difficult to control his condition at that time. While the queen ignored him and pulled out demon wings from her back. Just then Roland starts to talk.

"If you... If you hurt her - ... I will kill you – I WILL kill you ALL! If you –"

At first, the queen seems interested in Roland's threat. But she talks "It just doesn't matter if it goes like that" and start to fly high to the sky.

Roland was really mad, even his breath goes crazy and made his heart couldn't manage his current situation. Then his heart stops moving because he couldn't hold back his anger.

"Really? Or is it because last night affected you so much that you couldn't stand being around me?" "Don't flatter yourself, Snow. You didn't affect me at all." He smirked, stepping closer. "Is that so?" His fingers brushed my chin, tilting my face up. My pulse quickened. "We're at work," I snapped, swatting his hand away. "This isn't professional." "You're my wife," he murmured. "You're supposed to obey me at all times." I bit back a retort, a hint of rebellion flaring within. Slowly, I stepped closer, letting my fingers graze his chest. His smirk wavered for a second when his wolf reacted and Snow bit his lips. "Careful, Boss," I purred seductively. "Don't hurt those lips. I'm sure plenty of girls would love to kiss them." Snow leaned down, his lips brushing my ear. "And you? Are you dying for a taste?" Caught off guard, I hesitated, then regained my composure as I looked him in the eyes. "Unlike other girls, I have strong resistance against—" I didn't get a chance to finish when Snow's lips crashed onto mine with a fierce kiss that left me breathless. *************** MATURE CONTENT Participating in the Viral Book Call Contest. Two times rejected Luna, the desire of all Alphas

Valerie, the daughter of the murdered Alpha of the Yellow Stone Pack, could never lead the pack because she had a Luna wolf. Her mate, Tristan, was made the Alpha in her stead. After assuming the title of Alpha, Valerie was set up and brutally rejected, not only by Tristan but also her whole pack, and her kid sister, Scarlet, with whom Tristan had secret affairs. “I reject Luna Valerie as my mate. She was caught in bed with a stranger, meaning that she would sell the pack out. The punishment for treachery is death,” Alpha Tristan announced heartlessly. The chants from the pack members and visiting Alphas who had come for the Alphas' conference attracted them to the judgment. No one thought that Alpha Denzel, whose name caused the hairs on their skin to stand straight due to his ruthlessness, would make it to the conference. Valerie found hope when she realized that Alpha Denzel was her second chance mate, but painstakingly, she was rejected once again. The double rejection caused her to lose her wolf, and she was condemned to die by all the Alphas present. She thought her fate was sealed when Alpha Denzel left and a warrior was ready to execute her. Everyone was shocked when Alpha Denzel suddenly turned around. “Stop! The treacherous daughter of a late Alpha should not be killed. More suffering awaits her,” he declared. Valerie’s heart dropped when she saw his dark look, which was like a bottomless pit, as she blacked out from exhaustion. A few months down the line, there was a war among the Alphas as they began to lay claim to the two-times-rejected Luna. With her wolf dead, will the moon goddess be gracious to give her another wolf? And which Alpha would be able to melt her now cold heart?

But he was not alone. “Your Grace,” Soleia said, trying her best to maintain a calm tone, “welcome home. How were your travels?” The man remained silent as he stared at her. “Oh,” the woman that Soleia's husband had brought back said. “I was just wondering where the servants were. No one has come to greet you since your return. Could you please help us bring―” Orion tugged the woman back, protectively holding her in his embrace. His eyebrows furrowed as he glared at Soleia, his sudden action causing the woman to look confused at him. “Orion?” she asked, her hands on his chest to steady herself. “What’s the matter?” “That’s not a servant." In one swift motion, he threw the sword out at Soleia, only to be stopped by a flash of scarlet and the coppery scent of blood. *** Prequel to Stolen by the Rebel King.
