Lilac's POV
I took An on a tour around my neighborhood and we had lunch at the restaurant that the boys brought me to. We enjoyed the whole afternoon together filling each other with what happened in our university. At that time, I realized that I should shrugged off the weird feeling that I had towards An She had been so sincere with me so she wouldn't even hurt me. But I still need to be careful.
Ji An's POV
I hope that Lilac didn't suspect anything. Tomorrow my plan will be carried out. I hope that everything on the other person's side will be ready when I need it. I do realize that Lilac had been keeping her guard out so I know that the plan must be carried out when she's asleep. The next morning, I woke up when I heard my phone ringing.
"I'm here." The other person said.
"I'll go and open the door for you." I said.
"Ok." The other person said and hung up the phone.
I walk to the door minimizing the sound made by the house slippers. When I reached the door, I had to open the door softly so that Lilac wouldn't hear a sound at all.
"Where is the thing I asked you to bring?" I asked.
"It's in my bag." Anonymous replied.
"Quick come in before anyone sees you." I said.
"Where's Lilac?" Anonymous asked.
"She's still sleeping. Let's go to her room." I said.
When we enter Lilac's room, she's still sleeping soundly on her bed but her phone kept on blinking with notification. When I saw that it was Yoon Gi's messages, I unlocked Lilac's phone and delete all his messages.
"Give me that thing." I said.
"Here." Anonymous said and passed me the needle containing the medicine for Lilac.
"Are you sure that she will not remember anyone but us? Did that guy that give you this said like that or they had already done a test for this?" I said.
"They've tested it." Anonymous replied.
"Ok. Here it goes. I'm sorry Lilac. I've tried not to hurt you. This is the best way for you." I said.
I pressed the needle into Lilac's hand trying my best not to feel guilty.
"Remember this is the only way to keep her safe. You don't need to feel guilty." Anonymous said.
"Of course I will still feel guilty. You don't know how well she has been treating me. Unlike you, you're blinded by jealousy to see how good Lilac is actually to you." I said.
"Let's not talk about this now. Can you do it faster?" Anonymous said.
After making sure that the medicine is empty in the syringe, I pull the needle out from Lilac's hand.
"Here take this." I said.
"Alright. Mission accomplished." Anonymous said and smile like she had gained victory.
"Now you can go." I said.
"Aren't you gonna celebrate this with wine? You're asking me to leave now. How could you? I'm just joking. I'll be leaving now. Bye." Anonymous said.
"Bye." I said and close the door.
I slumped down on the floor thinking of the mistake that I've done. I know that I shouldn't have done that. But there was no other choice. I'm really sorry Lilac. I've disappointed you. I don't deserve to be your friend. I don't even deserve how well you treat me.
Hey lovelies,
I might not be posting for quite some time after this because I'm really really busy. Hopefully you guys would forgive me. Thank you for your continuous support to my book.
Lots of love,
