Blue/Ava's POV

I was cleaning Nicholai's room when Edward came. He was directly staring at my face. His eyes are sad and begging. I heaved a sigh and continued changing the bedsheet. I don't wanna see his face because anger is overpowering me. This isn't about the flower he ruined, okay? I'm not that shallow. It's about the things he's keeping to himself. Things that are connected with my past.

"Can we talk?" He asked using a very soft and begging voice.

I lifted my face and looked at Edward. Talk? Will talk change anything? He's lying to me. Will he tell me everything if I agree to talk? I doubt it. "About what? If it's not important, I don't wanna talk."

He shook his head. "A-Ava, am I losing you? Please… Please, let's fix this. Let's fix us."

I clenched my jaws. "It's your choice, Edward. You chose to play me for a fool."

He sucked his breath. "Ava…"
