This is my new life. I have to forget about my past and live the new life that was given to me. I should only look at Edward and take care of Nicholai. I don't want another burden as living without memories of who I am is already a burden. My doctor warned me that there might be no chance for me to get my memories back, so I should live in the present.

But… I chewed my bottom lip. But why does walking away from Nicholas break my heart? Nicholas is part of my past, I have confirmed that based on my reactions whenever he's near. But there's Edward in my life now and it's only made our situation more complicated.
