The Beginning of Ignorance

Eric also followed her and sat on the throne beside her. Then the others could sit back in their chairs. Eric could hear the sarcastic laughs the nobles were throwing at him. Even though now he is married to her, she didn't crown him. Which means he can access half the authority of an emperor consort since he is not crowned. Nashia also noticed the laughs but she seemed to enjoy it and turned a blind eye. While Eric suffers alone as he doesn't know anyone there.

As soon as the ritual was done, the feast was held at the castle by the vampire Empire. A long dining hallroom set up with few very long tables and chairs. All were decorated in red and black covers same with the wedding theme. Long candles flaming in the middle of the table. And every seat is adorned with a personal thank you note along with red rose little bouquets. And red towels tidied up for personal use on the table. 

There were guests of both Empires at the feast. Nashia and Eric stood to start the feast as they raised their couple's wine glass. They hold their full crystal wine glass adorned with red roses in the curves in the air as they toast everyone. They cross their arms as they drink from their wine glass. The feast lasts a long time.

As the ceremony finishes, the ignorance of Nashia starts to show. He was taken to the main palace, the Ivory Palace. Her maids led Eric to his bedroom to get freshed and ready for their wedding night. After he took a bath, they led him to the joint bedchamber. Their bed chamber was joined in 3 chambers. at the two sides, it was their personal bed chamber while in the middle it was their joint bed chamber. They can only enter in the joint bedchamber through their own rooms.

When he entered the chamber she still wasn't there. He sat on the bed edge and waited for her. He stared at the door which was connected with her bedchamber. But she didn't come to the joint bedchamber to celebrate their union. She ignored him as if she never married him.

He just kept quiet as he knew from the start as she said that she will have a political marriage with him. He didn't expect to have his wife's company on their first night anyways. He got up and went to the balcony. He stared at the dark sky upon him and the moon. 

"How different this empire is from Zenith. This empire is naturally beautiful yet fearful. That red moon in the sky. I never saw it in Zenith. Who knows, how will my life go from now on." 

He thought as he jumped into his past years thoughts. He can't help but remember how he ended up being married to her despite being the first prince and the righteous heir to the throne of Zenith Empire.

10 years ago when Eric was 15 years old, among the neighbouring kingdoms, there was a kingdom ruled by vampires for generations called Rosett. Currently Rosett has two living royals, the empress and imperial princess. The imperial princess, Novia Rosario came to the Zenith Empire with a delegation to continue their peaceful connection.

While staying at the empire, she resided in the castle. Eric saw her from far a few times. She was a gorgeous lady with black silky short hair and her red rose-like eyes shined brighter in the light of the sun. they asked for mutual help to conquer other kingdoms to Rosett. But Novia declined at once since their empire was maintaining complete peace without any war for around 100 years now. 

But that dissatisfied Alex and Gloria. They didn't react much to this denial. But the problem arose when she tried to pursue Alex for maintaining peace. There were a lot of terms where their opinions didn't match which caused a displeasure among them. There were a few conflicts among her and Gloria too, which made Gloria end up hating her.

Novia understands that they are planning to attack them too whenever they get a chance. But they maintained a good relationship for a long time so she decided to overlook it and pursue a peace-treaty. But Novia ended up dying in Zenith.

It made a huge commotion in the empire. They sent back her body with a delegation to show their condolence back to Rosett. But it provoked the Rosett Empire. The current empress of Rosett, Nashia Rosario loved her too much. She couldn't take her death. 

As she opened the coffin and looked at her body, she knew the explanation they gave wasn't the truth. Because a noble vampire like her has high regeneration skill. She can't die in this way. Also she noticed the stab in her chest. That spot isn't from a sharp tool of mining. She recognised that immediately. 

Being desperate and angry, she declared a war against Zenith. That way the war began between Zenith and Rosett. It was a terrifying bloody battle. She personally led the war. In just a span of two years, she earned the name of "Rose-thorn of War".

She wielded her sword on the battlefield with grace. Her vampire powers and her army's power was top-notch. Zenith took all the casualties. At first they thought they would be able to win since their power and army was bigger. But they didn't take it into account that they were in constant war, which is why they aren't prepared to go head on with a powerful empire like Rosett.

The war dragged on to 10 years but Zenith couldn't take any more casualties. They need time to prepare themselves. So they proposed a peace-treaty for now. They agreed to give one of the kingdoms closer to Rosett which they conquered back then as a compensation and the beautiful mens of Zenith as hostage. But Nashia's rage wasn't concluded.
