Chapter 6

Wei started getting used to his environment, it's been a week and three days since Chynna kidnapped him and no one has traced him. A part of him was too proud to admit that Chynna had brains and a part of him felt attracted to her, a part of him admired her because of the courage she displayed.

She wasn't like other women who throw themselves on him; she didn't care to be with him, she only cared about her brother and no one else matters to her.

`Get her out of your head.

"What seems to trouble The Almighty Mafia Boss?" her voice echoed around the room, prompting him to turn round to face her.

"Nothing." Wei snapped at her.

"You were pacing around the room," Chynna said. "Missing home?"

"Not sure," Wei replied.

"If you are missing home, then just do it," Chynna muttered as she walked closer to him. Wei's eyes watched her every step.

"I won't do it," Wei muttered. "So don't bother sweetheart."

`Sweetheart seriously Wei.

Chynna's face went red, but luckily the darkroom hid her flushed cheeks.

~What game is he playing?

"Why are you being so nice to me?" Chynna asked.

"Honestly, I do not know," Wei replied as the back of his hair. "Let's do something now."

Chynna glared at Wei. His emerald eyes had a mischievous glow. A glow she needed to be careful of.

"What are you planning now, Wei?" she inquired. Her folded arms covered her chest. "What are you playing at Wei?"

"Nothing," he replied honestly. "I want us to get to know each other."

Chynna's eyes widened. He wanted us to get to know each other, but why?

"Why would you want that?"

Wei's eyes roamed around the room before they landed on Chynna. "I don't know why."

He couldn't explain why he wanted to get to her, he wanted to know everything about her.

"I don't want to harm you, so don't think of that," Wei assured her before sitting on a seat that was in front of him. "I just want to talk."

Chynna didn't know to react, she couldn't say no nor could she accept his invite. What if he wants to harm her under the pretence of a talk?

~He's harmless, remember you took all weapons on him.

"Okay," she said before sitting next to Wei. "Let's talk."

~If anything comes up at least I have a dagger on me for defence.
