SEVENTEEN

NARRATION

These two didn't even realise they were standing in the mid of the road.

He was about to complete his sentence when a van crashed their bodies. They were standing while hugging each other, none among them knew that it would be their last hug. Their bodies separated by the force and they drifted apart. A loud sound of crash was heard in the entire neighborhood. Everyone ran out of their houses, they called the ambulance. The party that was going on in Taehyung's house, stopped. Jimin couldn't take it in, for he was almost at the edge of losing his soulmate. Jin was consoling him, whereas everyone was busy gossiping as to how ironic it was that he was almost dying on his birthday.

Taehyung very well heard Y/n's bone crush under the wheels of the van. He was bleeding all over his face. Just the way his face was covered in icing earlier, the same way his face was now covered in blood. He barely could open his eyes or move. With a blur vision he saw Y/n laying on the road, lifeless. He cried, but no sound came out of his mouth.

Y/n didn't die. She was just counting her last breath. She looked at Taehyung from the corner of her eyes and could see him completely drenched in blood. The wheels of the van crushed her spine, therefore she couldn't move.

On the other hand, with all his force and energy, Taehyung tried to get close to Y/n, maybe just for the last time. He somehow dragged himself towards Y/n and extended his hand to grab hers. It was just ten centimetres away. He couldn't reach for her hands, so he just whispered, loud enough for Y/n to hear.

"I love you Y/n. I will always do."

Upon hearing that, a lone tear escaped Y/n's eyes, which was mixed with blood.

The ambulance arrived and took them to the hospital, immediate.

It was very difficult for them to even breathe. The pain rushing through their bodies was immense.

Upon reaching the hospital, without any delay they were rushed to the operation theatre. Jimin, Jin and many of their close friends waited outside of the O.T. Jimin was being a little selfish here, but that is what is normal. Every friend would do that. He was just wishing for his soulmate Taehyung's well being and almost forgot that Y/n was also admitted.

After few hours, the doctors came out. Everyone except Jimin rushed to them and asked about Y/n and Taehyung. He didn't even cry, he just sat there with no emotions on his face.

"We are really sorry. We couldn't save them."

These were the words of the doctors before leaving. Jimin just got up on his two and walked out of the hospital building lifelessly.

Not all love stories are meant to have a happy ending. Taehyung expressed his emotions at such a time when Y/n couldn't even reply. She loved him too, but she couldn't say it.

Life didn't give them a chance to be together as lovers on earth, they probably are now together in heaven.

Even if you die, even if your soul leaves your body;

True Love Never Dies.

It always finds a way to be together.
