[Healing Grass Potion]
[Rarity: Uncommon]
[A special version of the healing grass potion that was taken to another step.]
[Effect: Restore 60 HP.]
"Huh… This is interesting."
[You have created and experimented with countless potions, making a lot of different potions, some different but sometimes similar but not the same.]
[You have obtained title: Researcher Of Potions – Rank 1]
[Title Rank: E (Grow)]
[Based on your alchemy research regarding the potions as well as your potion production, this skill rank and rarity may change, giving it new effects and bonuses.]
[Effect – Rank 1]
-Increase Alchemist type class level by 2.]
[Level of the [Alchemist] has increased.]
"Oh. Even a title? Nice."
[The title [Crafting – Tier 1] has changed to [Crafting – Tier 2] - [E]
[Crafting – Tier 1] – [Effect: +5 class points.]
[Crafting – Tier 2] – [Effect: +10 class points.]
(Oh, the title got upgraded as well? Nice.)
(Anyway….)
(60 heal, huh?)
(… I only used few different tools and in different order… But the results were much better than I hoped for!)
(The process to create this potions is much longer compare to the regular or enchanted healing grass potion.)
"But the effect its way better."
"The obvious down side is that it takes time to make one, but I can create a lot of potions at the same time."
(This will definitely sell. Both low level players and some high level players.)
(But it's not enough.)
1 point of health is equal to 10 HP.
"I need to make a stronger potion if I want to attract more customers…. But I barely used slime goo or the mana grass, so I can still experiment a bit!"
The alchemy research today was more fruitful than I though.
Just by using different tools and process, I was somehow able to create even shitteir version of the potions than original OR instead created something way better, even if used same number of materials.
I was slowly getting hang of these new alchemy tools…. But not quite there, I still sometimes made some huge mistakes, even when I tried to make some adjustment to not to repeat those mistakes, I still ended up making the same mistake.
Not only that, each tool has a different effect and if you realize some effects or reaction are similar and different effect on the stuff I'm experimenting with. So, it's crucial for me to research theses tools and use them often to learn from experience.
HOWEVER, this isn't the main point right now.
I discovered something big.
Those tools, notes and other stuff… It's way more important than it may seem.
"The public workshop WON'T do at all if you want to take crafting seriously."
Be it either alchemy, cooking or blacksmithing. If you want to be a production class user, you need a proper workshop.
Those tools, they made me realize that.
It not only allows me to boost my performance, BUT it also helps me in researching the alchemy AS WELL AS improving my alchemy skills.
But…. Here comes the problem.
I also want to do the blacksmithing, but I don't have tools or money to make my own blacksmithing workshop inside this place.
Well, that why I need to focus on the alchemy and make some good stuff that I can sell and earn some money.
The goal is to make an potions that are helpful and don't use anything that is harmful or anything like that, since I will need them for my plague research.
Well, there is also another thing that needs to be mentioned.
Honestly, there is so much going on to the point I'm writing things down on the notebooks I bought and honestly, I already written a lot already.
But it was worth it.
By combing specific notes together or taking an example from the past experiments.
And this is one of the results I was aiming for.
[Modified Healing Grass Potion]
[Rarity: Uncommon]
[A special version of the healing grass potion that was taken to many different step towards creating better potion.]
[Effect: Restore 100 HP.]
(Hm… The effect is two times more effective than the common rarity Modified Healing Grass Potion and bit more.)
(Its takes bit long to made, but since I'm not using too many materials it's not bad.)
(Not only that.)
[Numbing Potion]
[Rarity: Uncommon]
[A potion with very numbing effect that tires the body.]
[Effect: Decrees 30 SP]
(By combing the Dark Cave Moss, Grey Nettle and Green Dandelion could give me such interesting effect?)
(I tried making some potions based on the Modified Healing Grass Potion, but it's an interesting outcome.)
(The 30 SP decrees may not seem like a lot, but I used small ratio of ingredients, meaning I can mass produce it. Not only that, this is only the starting product, meaning I can make it even better with few more experiments and adjustments.)
(Not only that, this place is perfect for cultivating the Dark Cave Moss. That guy even left the notes to not to forget how he got them as well as how to take care of them. Apparently, he was sometimes using them as ingredients beside as the light source.)
(It takes some times to grow them, but as long as I don't fuck up, I should have stable supply of it.)
(Hm… Say… I know that you need to drink the potion for it to work… But are there other ways? Like for example dip a bolt or the dagger in it?)
"…"
Phantasia took our one of his daggers and dibbed it in the numbing potion before stabbing himself.
"…"
(Huh… It worked? My stamina was reduced…)
(…)
Phantasia picked the second potion and poured it on his arm.
"…"
(It also worked…)
Phantasia took the healing potion and then poured it on his leg as well as hit himself with the dipped dagger.
"…"
(The dagger worked… But with beery any effects… But the pouring it didn't worked.)
(So I guess it depends.)
(Still, its better to write it down.)
After few more experiments, I began mass producing the healing potions, using all the ingredients I has at hand.
I also made few other potions that may be useful.
It took me few hours, but I ended up making a lot of potions.
After I finished making the last potion, I head straight towards the city.
But first thing first, I went and had a talk with the guards.
Apparently, I can open the something like a stall where I can sell potions without trouble.
He also told me that there is something called open street market where the stalls can open, so I went there.
And honestly… This place is located right near the way to the hunting grounds, so honestly its quite perfect.
However, considering how often people go in and out of this place, I don't want to get too much attention, so I'm wearing a hood the wooden mask to cover my face.
(…)
(I can see some stalls… They seem to be an NPCs… But I also see some players? Huh. There is not a lot but there are few.)
(Dishes. Potions. Weapons…)
(This place is quiet less chaotic than before, so there is no horde of players going on the rampage to just get to the hunting grounds.)
(Jeez... Who would believe that this place on the start was just straight up war zone… Probably people didn't even realized that this place was public market… I honestly didn't even realized myself.)
(Still. After this place calmed down a bit, people are now seem to use this place as a gathering spot, so opening stall here is perfect.)
"Let's see…."
(Oh. There is a good spot.)
Phantasia took out a carpet from his inventory before taking out few potions and sight.
"Hm? Hey. Are you selling potions?" – asked the orc player.
(Oh? I didn't even prepared yet or anything, but somebody already approached me?)
"Yes. I'm an alchemist researcher." – said Phantasia.
"Researcher?"
"Yeb."
"I pretty much spend days researching alchemy. Its pretty much my job."
"Want to take a look?" – said Phantasia while holding a potion.
"….?!"
"Wait! Uncommon rarity potion?!" – shouted the orc player.
"?"
"Hey. What did he just said?"
"Uncommon rarity?"
The orc player that just shouted ended up getting some attention from the other players after the word [Uncommon Rarity] was heard by the players.
"Hey! How the hell did you get that?!" – asked the orc player.
"What do you mean by "Get that"? I made it myself." – said Phantasia.
(Well, using the tools I had from the hideout. So, you can't replicate them using stuff from the public workshop.)
"However, this isn't all my dear costumer."
[Modified Healing Grass Potion]
[Rarity: Uncommon]
[Effect: Restore 100 HP]
[Wiggling Leaf Potion]
[Rarity: Uncommon]
[Effect: Restore 50 MP]
[Modified Wiggling Leaf Potion]
[Rarity: Uncommon]
[Effect: Restore 80 MP]
"?!"
"Wait what?! All of these are uncommon rarity?!" – said the orc player.
"Yeb!"
"So, how about it? Interested in buying some of them?"
"!"
"Of course!"
"…Hey wait…" – said a human player from behind.
"Hm?"
"Can we also check the things you are selling?" – asked the female dark elf.
"Sure, no problem."
"Hey! Are you really selling uncommon rarity potions?! Let me see!"
"Hey! I was first! Fuck off!"
"Everybody!" – shouted Phantasia.
"!"
"Please calm down."
"I have a lot in stocks, so please don't fight and be civil."
Honestly, this was way better than I hoped for.
Because of that stupid orc player suddenly shouting about my uncommon rarity potions, I was able sell potions without any problems… Well not exactly, players began fighting each other to buy my potions.
Makes sense if you look at it.
I mean, everybody wants to use the best potions possible, so selling them was EXTREMLY easy.
However, I needed to made sure that the price wasn't too high or anything.
I just acted as a good merchant and sold potions at the good price, beneficial for both me and the costumers.
Still, I did ended up earning a lot of money!
I did made shit tons of these potions, but I honestly wasn't expecting to run out of them so early on.
"Sorry costumers. That was the last potion I had in stock." – said Phantasia.
"Oh…." – said the disappointed players.
"Em… Question. Will you make more potions in the future and sell them?" – asked a female orc player.
"Well, it depends on how long it takes me to gather materials and then make potions. So unfortunately, it will take some time."
"Shit." – said the human player.
"If I fuking knew that it would turn that way I would have come here early."
"Forget it man, we were unlucky this time. Next time lets hope we at least buy something."
The crowd of the players dispersed after the Phantasia announced that he ran out of the potions.
(Huh… This went way better than I imagined.)
(Not only I managed to sell all the potions I prepared, but I also earned a shit tons of money.)
(Good thing that I'm wearing the mask and the hood, since I can kind of see some players stalking me to see what materials I will be using for the potions crafting or may stalk me to my base.)
(Still, I earned more money that I hoped for.)
(Mass producing potions for the entire day was worth it.)
(I can now afford to buy many different blacksmith tool and ingots.)
(But, this isn't the main positive thing going on.)
(One of my main goals was particle archive!)
(The alchemy research!)
(I have now possess both enough data from experimenting with the healings potions as well as harmful materials to start the next step.)
(Now, its time for the long awaited the plague research to start moving.)
