Chapter 7

"Why didn't you call me?" He asked in a deep voice.

Ever since the party, he had always been patiently waiting for Ivan to call him but it never came. He even sent people to investigate him secretly to protect him (A/N:😒 Mhmm, right~.) But he was going around and buying strange things. If he wanted anything he could have just asked him.

Ivan felt the ring on his finger become warm. The first time they met he had felt it but he ignored it. His heart started beating harder.

"I-I'm sorry, I was busy." In front of this man, Ivan always feels flustered. His heart always beats fast and he turns into a blushing mess. Was this man really his soulmate?

Ivan stared into his deep emerald eyes and thought ' If he really is then... I'm willing to try.'

Dominic stared into Ivan's unfocused eyes and thought ' Who is he thinking about?'

He grabbed Ivan's head and roughly pressed their lips together. Ivan was brought out of his stupor by the sudden kiss. He tried struggling but it was as if all his strength had vanished. But he didn't actually want him to stop.

Dominic plunged his tongue into Ivan's mouth and kissed him with passion. He was in heaven. His lips tasted way better than he imagined. He was finally kissing his precious treasure. He sucked and nibbled on Ivan's lips and only stopped when he seemed to be out of breath.

"Hah....hah...." Ivan didn't expect to be kissed like that. But he liked it.

Staring at Ivan's glassy and red-rimmed eyes and his parted swollen red lips, Dominic couldn't help but swallow.

"Baby, you shouldn't think about anyone else when I'm with you otherwise you'll make me mad."

"I'm sorry."

Seeing his pitiful appearance, Dominic chuckled and gently placed a kiss on Ivan's forehead.

"I understand but I want you to compensate me."

"What do you want me to do?"

Dominic leaned forward and whispered in his ear "Be mine."

Ivan flushed but he felt happy for some reason and he didn't hate that fact.

"Okay....."

His voice was almost inaudible but Dominic definitely caught it. He thought he would refuse after all they only met a few days ago. He fell deeply in love with him at first sight so even if he was rejected he would still continue to pursue him. He didn't think Ivan would actually agree. A tremendous joy rose in his heart. He kissed Ivan again but this time the kiss didn't contain the previous strong desire but pure love and joy.

After they broke the kiss, Dominic gazed into Ivan's eyes and said," I'm really happy."

Just then, a loud cough sounded in the room. Ivan turned his head and saw the sisters staring at them wide-eyed with red faces some of them even had nosebleeds.

The girls came down because they heard some noise. They didn't even bother wearing modern clothes but, they never expected to witness this scene.

Kai: "Cough, we came down when we heard the noise."

"How much did you see?"

Kai: "Everything."

"Hah......" Ivan sighed. He didn't really feel angry or embarrassed or anything but he took the girls as his family members so it was probably fine.

Dominic was slightly surprised but he didn't think much of it. He turned to Ivan and asked in a deep voice,"Who are they?"

"I guess I should introduce you guys."

Ivan pointed at them in order as he mentioned their " This is Kai, Calantha, Coral, Mira, Ivy and Agneyastra. They are my family. And this is Hydra." Ivan lifted his wrist and pointed to the little snake that was still deeply asleep.

"Girls this is Dominic, my-"

"Hubby."

Ivan didn't finish speaking before Dominic cut in. He wasn't annoyed at all, in fact, he liked that name.

"We are lovers."

The girls were quite surprised but if their cute little brother was happy then they were happy.

They all nodded in understanding and smiled.

Ivan was satisfied with this result. He was in a good mood.

"Why are you going around buying so much stuff?" Dominic was curious. His baby even bought such an expensive piece of land and built a giant house.

"Oh? We were just preparing for the zombie apocalypse."

"Then, is there anything I can do to help?" Dominic smiled, with an unclear emotion in his eyes.

Ivan was a little bit surprised. He didn't think Dominic would believe him immediately. But he was happy.

"Yeah, you can help us buy supplies but I advise to wait until July."

They were currently in March and the apocalypse started in August. People would get suspicious if they started buying so many supplies too early. But in July, when strange things started happening in the sky, most people would be distracted and won't pay too much attention. They can then empty their bank accounts and give their employees a month off and then maybe bribing a weather station and tell the people to stack more food.

"I understand." Dominic didn't ask him why, because everything his baby said was correct. And maybe, there was another reason.

"We'll be moving into the Callista Mansion tomorrow. Would you like to join us?"

"Of course, wherever you go, I will also go." He replied as he patted Ivan's soft smooth hair.

"I have a few trustworthy subordinates who I think would be very useful."

"Okay, how about we meet them tomorrow?"

"Yeah, but today I have somethings I have to prepare."

"Okay, then I'll wait for you at the mansion tomorrow."

Dominic gave Ivan a brief peck on the lips and left.

Even though his baby said to wait until July, he still wanted to start early. No one would find out after all he was Dominic Estevan.

Kai headed to the kitchen and asked if anyone wanted breakfast. They all agreed. When they had their fill. They all sat in the hall and discussed the upcoming zombie apocalypse. Ivan told them everything he knew. From the story line to the characters. He explained about the zombies and how they even imerged from stinky swamps and how a human could turn into one if they were bitten. 75% of  the world's population directly turned into zombies overnight. Later, the animals and even the plants mutated. Some plants even ate humans. If one was lucky and had a pet that was loyal, it could awaken with an element and it's appearance would change but if one was unlucky the animal would directly turn into a zombie. There were also these rare things called constellation gifts (A/N: laoniang couldn't think of any other name.). They were rare but not too rare. Only one in a hundred people had them. They were sometimes swords, sometimes weird clothes or armour and even miracle drugs etc. They were also divided into classes from E to SSS, but the highest level gift in the game was A.

Ivan thought about it and decided to make sure to buy at least S class weapons for all his future comrades.

After the discussion was over, they headed to Ivan's room and decided to sleep early because they had stuff to do tomorrow.
