Chapter 1.7 - ATLAS

"Who's Atlas," I asked, at this point, I'm just prepared for any answer.

"You," my mom said with a sad face.

"What?...but my na..."

"We changed it, we were always planning on naming our son Xavier"

I was mad but I didn't want to show it, my mom has been through so much, and I was happy to be raised by her.

I hug her and motion for my dad to join in.

But I still wanted to know where I came from....

Later on at midnight:

Everyone is sleeping. After me and my parents finished talking, Stephanie came in but she saw that I was okay so she didn't question it. But it's good to see them resting peacefully.

Suddenly, I begin to feel paranoid like something is about to happen, so I get up to wash my face but then my ring starts to glow.....

SCENE: UNKNOWN

AND I FIND MYSELF SOMEWHERE ELSE.....

It looks like my dream but it feels darker as if all the light from this place vanished. Instantly I remember the last time this happened and went to find the man but this time the door says 'Xavier come in to find out the truth'.

Without thinking I pushed the door open and he's staring straight at me.

"YOUR ON TIME"

*while walking to him* "what are you talking about and why am I here" I said with a confused expression

"I was going to tell you the truth about your past but what fun would it be, when you could just find out yourself"

"I don't understand"

"All you need to know is that you're going back home and don't trust the man with the missing eye"

"What man?" what is he talking about? What does he mean I'm going back ho..."

Suddenly he points his fingers at me and a blast of light shoots out at me. And I'm in my bed. But I hear his voice in my head.....

"YOU HAVE THREE DAYS TO SAY GOODBYE"

WHAT!! What just happened...what did he mean by I have three days to say goodbye. I try to wake my parents but I'm so weak and tired that m..ey...ar..shutting....
