65. Oppose 19

Paige finally woke up fully when she sat on the table and ate something that was sadly not braised pigtails.

She sighed in regret.

The atmosphere was strange, with Natasha unhappy and not chirping like always, Meier staring at her, and Lance disgruntled.

After dinner, with no one talking, they were ready to be brought home by a driver.

In between saying their goodbyes, Paige coughed lightly.

"My price is still under your bed," she said, directed at Meier, who looked at her in annoyance.

"Get it yourself." He answered.

Paige nodded and walked directly toward his room while Lance followed her and questioned what could lead to this conversation.

Arriving, Paige immediately crawled under the bed.

"What the fuck?" Lance directly dragged her out of there by her foot, and they both had a tug of war until Paige kicked him heavily.

Lance held his stomach and whined,

"Why are you so violent?"
