A Love So Strong

Oghene sat at his desk, lost in thought. He couldn't stop thinking about his romantic lunch break with Fenan. Their conversation had flowed like a gentle stream, filled with laughter and tears, their hearts overflowing with emotion. He had never felt this way about anyone before. His love for Fenan grew more and more with each passing day.

Just as he was lost in thought, his phone rang, cutting short his daydream. He groaned in frustration, not wanting to be disturbed. He looked at the screen and his heart sank. It was Adaobi, his ex.

He felt a surge of anger and frustration. Why was she calling him now? Hadn't she done enough damage already?

He picked up the phone, his voice firm. "What do you want, Adaobi?"

Adaobi's voice was sweet and sultry. "I want you back, Oghene. I realize now that I made a mistake by leaving you. I love you and I can't live without you."

Oghene's anger boiled over. "You can't be serious, Adaobi. You left me without even looking back. You broke my heart into a million pieces. Why should I even consider taking you back?"

Adaobi's voice was filled with tears. "I know I hurt you, Oghene. But I promise to make it up to you. I'll do anything to get you back."

Oghene's voice was firm. "It's too late, Adaobi. I've moved on. I love someone else now."

Adaobi's voice was filled with disbelief. "Who is she? What's her name?"

Oghene's voice was evasive. "That's none of your business, Adaobi. Just know that I'm happy now, and I'm not going to let you ruin it for me."

Adaobi's voice was filled with anger. "You can't love her, Oghene. You love me. I know you do."

Oghene's voice was firm. "No, Adaobi. I don't love you anymore. I've moved on, and I'm not going to look back."

Adaobi's voice was filled with tears. "Please, Oghene. Don't say that. I'll do anything to get you back."

Oghene's voice was filled with finality. "It's over, Adaobi. I'm not going to take you back. And I'm not going to talk to you anymore."

With that, he cut the call, not giving Adaobi a chance to say anything else.

He sighed in relief, his heart still racing with anger. He was glad that he had ended things with Adaobi once and for all. He was glad that he had found Fenan, his true love.

Later that day, Oghene invited Fenan over to his place. She complimented his house, and they moved to the balcony to discuss and talk.

"I love your place, Oghene," Fenan said, her eyes shining with admiration. "It's so cozy and warm."

"Thanks, Fenan," Oghene replied, his eyes filled with love. "I'm glad you like it."

As they sat on the balcony, watching the sun set behind the trees, Oghene felt a sense of peace wash over him. He knew that he had found his soulmate in Fenan.

But little did he know, Adaobi had finally found his address. She was standing outside his house, watching them with a mixture of anger and desperation.

And as Oghene and Fenan embraced, they had no idea that their love was about to be put to the test.

"I have a bad feeling," Fenan said, her voice filled with concern.

Oghene looked at her, his eyes filled with love. "What's wrong, my love?" he asked.

Fenan hesitated. "I don't know. I just feel like we're being watched."

Oghene laughed. "Don't be silly, Fenan. We're safe here."

But Fenan's instincts were right. Adaobi had finally found Oghene's address, and she was standing outside his house, watching them with a mixture of anger and desperation.
